Kenneth Phillips

Sometimes is has been argued that his more rugged looks rival that of his most handsome brother (the one who embodies Lust); most of those people have been silenced. He stands tall, around six foot four inches with broad shoulders and rippling muscles to match. Due to his size, he has a large chest with bulging pectoral muscles on top of an abdomen that could have been sculpted from marble itself; additionally, he has large biceps (and gluts, according to some of his feverish admirers). While he is not the tallest or strongest of his brothers, he makes up for it with his speed end endurance. Kenneth has a face that leaves both men and woman wanting more. His short dark brown, nearly black hair and dark stubble frame his strong, square jaw. He has perfect, white teeth, though his fangs are considerably larger than his siblings'. His alluring eyes are naturally a lighter shade of blue when he is fully satisfied, but they seem to darken and turn a purple, followed by red when he desires blood. Given his bloodlust, his eyes are usually either a dark blue or a light purple. Kenneth likes to appear sophisticated, but hates restrictive clothing; therefore, he will most likely be seen in dark jeans followed by a nice, button up shirt and loose tie with a simple black or dark gray vest. He prefers thick boots and has a leather necklace with a large, unidentified tooth tied to it (he usually keeps the necklace hidden).
Personality: Kenneth is like a hormonal teenager mixed and a pregnant woman's cravings mashed into an extremely attractive guy. He typically has about three distinct moods: bold, humorous, and hungry; brooding and sarcastic but still hungry; and primal and ravenous. Nearly ninety-five percent of the time Kenneth is either A, B, or a combination of the two. However, days exist where all Kenneth can think about is blood, and that is when you need to be most concerned. It should almost be a medical condition. Essentially, it's like bipolar disorder where within microseconds Kenneth can go from laughing to attempting to rip your throat out. It's actually quite serious and has lead many of his brothers to distrust him because no one, not even Kenneth, knows when he thirst will take control over him. Needless to say, Kenneth has both trust issues (of both himself and others) as well as personal space issues. He usually tries to keep others at a distance...unless he's drunk. That's another thing. Kenneth tries everything to suppress his unusual desire for blood with just about everything; so far, the only thing that has even the smallest effect is alcohol. This leads Kenneth to drink quite often since he cannot have a constant supply of blood, though he would very much like it. Typically, Kenneth is a much happier (and more brash) person when intoxicated.

The servants and his private tutors of course noticed his unusual appetite, but it was never questioned. Not until Kenneth's 21st birthday. On that day, Kenneth finally convinced his father to let him go out on a sport hunting trip, for Kenneth was always fond of the outdoors. In fact, he prefers more physical activities rather than reading and writing or musical instruments, though he could probably learn if he set his mind to the task. Anyway, he was on this hunting trip with one of his most trusted servants, a boy named Edgar. Unknowingly, Kenneth and his servant was tailed by one of his father's guard's just in case of a problem arose. Everything seemed fine and Kenneth even managed to take down a bear with his bow; however, it all turned sour when he caught the scent of his freshly killed prey. Kenneth blacked out, and hours later he woke up to a guard standing over him. His face and clothes were coated in drying blood. The bear had been torn apart and his servant lied on the ground, a gaping wound in his neck and a look of pure terror on his face. Afterward, the guard admitted why he was there and told him that his eyes had suddenly turned a glowing blood red before he attacked the bear. His servant had tried to intervene but just got in the way. Thankfully for him, his father cleaned up the mess, but he was never allowed to hunt again, though it didn't matter. Kenneth had lost his appetite for hunting, only for it to be replaced by a never ending desire to feed. It wasn't until half a century later that he discovered alcohol to be a temporary solution to his problem. Nowadays, Kenneth is gaining better control over himself though he is still unsteady at times. He's also found a way to make the act of blood drinking much more pleasurable for both of those involved, though often times, his donors don't survive.

Kenneth is a special type of vampire who is born as such instead of turned. He grows like a normal human until he reaches adulthood (anywhere between 18-25 in human years) and then stops growing, having reached full immortality. In return, he feeds. Normally, vampire cannot be given birth to, but Kenneth's father had made a deal with a demon to sire children. In return, his seven sons would all embody one of the seven deadly sins. Kenneth is the third born and embodies the sin of Gluttony. He doesn't talk to his family much anymore.
Powers: Due to the nature of his sin, Kenneth has an uncanny ability for tracking scents, especially if his prey has bled recently. However, he mostly retains the abilities of normal vampires: strength, night vision and speed. Though he is not the strongest of his brothers (he estimates that he's the 2nd maybe 3rd strongest?), he is the quickest of them. Additionally, he can turn into the stereotypical vampiric creature (a bat) and he has the ability to control ice. While most of his siblings have development mind reading abilities, Kenneth has not, though he can feel the emotions of others, though he has no control over what they feel. Finally, most likely has a result of his specific sin, Kenneth can bring intense pleasure, almost to the point of being orgasmic, to those he comes into contact with; the longer he is in contact with someone, the more intense the feeling.
Other: Kenneth does not discriminate on what blood he will drink. Man, woman, human, mythological creature, even vampire (though he knows it is banned)...he will drink it all.

It's not that he doesn't have a heart. It's just that his compassion and ability to feel are so buried that it's been centuries since he's used them. This results in him being pretty moody. If he isn't calm and collected, he's one of two things: furious and looking for blood or seeking pleasure.
Biography: Born in 971, Dane is the bastard son of Erik the Red, a Norwegian explorer who ended up founding a settlement in Greenland...not that Dane cares. His most notable sibling is Leif Erikson, not that Dane cares about that either. Technically, none of his family (besides his mother) was aware of his existence until late in life, but Dane still resents them. So yeah, Dane is extremely old. He's seen a few things in his day. In fact, as far as he is currently aware, he is one of the oldest remaining vampires on the planet, but he doesn't really like to talk about it. In fact, most people in the vampire community believe him to be a myth.
Other: Despite the stigma around modern vampires, Dane does not sparkle or burn to death in the sun. It's more an annoyance that drains him of energy and leaves him weak. He is not allergic to garlic, but silver will burn him (somehow that became a werewolf myth, so few know of it). He does drink blood via retractable fangs. He's faster and stronger than any human (his strength and speed have improved with age). He's cool to the touch though not completely lifeless. Plus a few other things that he keeps to himself.

Species: A species so old that they're real name is lost to time itself. In fact, they were thought to be extinct.

Human - Normally, Max looks like one of those intimidating nomads that goes from place to place that looks like he's seen a few things. He's tall (pushing 6'6") with broad shoulders. His face and body are tanned from years of traveling outside. His eyes are an emerald green. His body is riddled with various scars, cuts, and bruises that shows he's been in a few fits, but his face is relatively blemish free except for an old scar, faded white that's hidden by his left eyebrow. His hair is a shaggy golden brown and his face is constantly covered in stubble. His clothes are aged to match his grimy appearance, torn and re-sewn in many places.

Personality: Max isn't the easiest to get along with. He's moody and temperamental. He hates being proven wrong, and he doesn't do well in groups. Plus, he hates talking about himself (probably because he doesn't remember much). His anger issues and his lack of social skills aside, his intentions are pure. He will always help those in need, despite him actually wanting to or not. Plus, he has a constant thirst for knowledge as he hopes to one day find out the truth locked inside his head. That being said, he doesn't take too kindly to those who try to deceive or harm him. He's a no nonsense type of person and hates small talk.
