Stained, Brutal Calamity

[WARNING: LOTS OF HEAD CANONS INCOMING]

Name: Calamitas

Age: Unknown, likely very old

Gender: Female

Species: Terrarian Mage

Occupation: Jungle Tyrant Yharim's strongest enforcer

Personality: (WIP) Calamitas is a creature of opposites, since she used her magic for the first time she has been fighting herself over what is right and what she must do. Her fractured mind makes her dangerously aggressive in battle, though strangely nonchalant in her speech and mannerisms almost as if she is disassociated from the world around her. Only when put into a situation that is truly threatening to her will Calamitas's true colors show. She will go from aloof and calm to enraged until finally she seemingly accepts her defeat and possible death. Calamitas has been cursed with being unable to fully die, her body will be reformed due to the magic of her lord and her soul will be forced back into its ever more warped vessel, which is likely a reason why she doesn't take her defeat too hard. Rather it seems that Calamitas is hopeful of one day being freed from the control of her master and considers most people too weak to stand up against him, that is why she becomes angry as battles against her goes on. Instead of rage due to losing she feels rage due to feeling a glimmer of hope of one day being freed, a hope that she knows is pointless.

Calamitas often debates with herself as to what she should do, those eavesdropping on her will sometimes hear her arguing with herself in hushed tones. It's best not to eavesdrop for too long though, because if she discovers that she is being watched she won't hesitate to retaliate if she thinks they heard something they shouldn't. Even when Calamitas isn't verbally arguing with herself she has a tell to show she's conflicted, if she is wringing her hands and staring intently at nothing chances are she's trying to figure something out.

Calamitas despises her current situation though due to her curse she is unable to fight against her master. That doesn’t stop her feelings of disdain towards Yharim. In fact, she hates everything to do with the jungle tyrant including his other enforcers. Despite having to work together with them on occasion Calamitas wouldn’t hesitate to strike any of them down especially the cocky worm known as the Devourer of Gods partly due to his pleasure of serving Yharim and partly due to how he teases her, calling her kid and other demeaning titles, every second he gets. The only servant of Yharim that Calamitas doesn’t wish constant death upon is the jungle dragon Yharon as Yharon had imprinted on Yharim when he hatched and loves his master. Despite everything Calamitas can’t fault the dragon for his imprinted loyalty.

Bio: (I'ma just post her official lore entry since that's all we really know.)
Calamitas' true name is unknown. She was born in a mountainous region to a family of extremely skilled mages whose destructive powers rivaled those of demigods. They taught her how to master the vehement and volatile natures of dark magic, without giving in to the negative emotions that these powers can inflict upon the wielder. "The dark is within all of us, but when gazing into darkness the darkness also gazes into you," her father told her, quoting a famous philosopher. However, one morning, after a particularly heated clash with a rivaling faction, Calamitas woke up to find her parents and siblings dead, hung on crucifixes by an angry mob. Filled with hatred and rage, Calamitas forgot what her parents had taught her, and brought devastation upon the mob, burning them with hellfire and teleporting them to the underworld to be tortured for eternity. Calamitas, defeated and sobbing, retreated to her now-vacant cave carved out in the mountainside, taking to practicing the magic of necromancy in order to revive her parents and 2 brothers.

After her success in bringing back her siblings she heard an ethereal and almost-mesmerizing voice telling her to seek refuge in the Jungle. Following this, Calamitas wandered toward the Jungle, entranced by some unknown force. She found her way into the Jungle Temple, where Yharim, the man who had spoken to her, resided. He had felt her mastery over the arcane due to her immense and manic outburst of destructive power. He eventually recruited her into his army after several long and persuasive talks over what truly matters in their world. When Amidias refused to help Yharim in a ritual, to awaken a slumbering god, Yharim had Calamitas incinerate the oceans as her first mission, thus causing the Desert Scourge to go on a rampage.

But, somewhere deep down in her psyche, the good in Calamitas still existed. Weeks passed, each day she argued more and more with herself over what was necessary to achieve a goal, and ultimately began distrusting Yharim. One day, Calamitas met with Yharim and attempted to convince him that his logic is flawed. Yharim heard none of it, and sent her immediately out of his throne room. That very same day, Calamitas betrayed Yharim by unleashing the ancient Golem using one of the ancient Power Cells. The Golem rampaged through the temple, distracting Yharim and his soldiers. Calamitas used this time to sneak up to Yharim's throne and procured a few documents containing some helpful information on Yharim's most valiant opponents, Braelor and Statis.

When Yharim and his men obliterated the Golem he cursed Calamitas for her betrayal. Due to her being a fair distance away the curse had a lessened impact on her, but it still managed to worm its way into her mind. Over time the curse slowly drove her mad, and ultimately she ended up returning to Yharim's side after the deaths of Braelor and Statis. Yharim has since removed the curse in exchange for her infallible servitude and unimaginable cruelty towards his opponents.

Current Residence: Unknown

Weaponry: Her magic

Abilities: I'll be honest, Calamitas is over powered. She's supposed to be an incredibly difficult bullet hell boss. A lot of these abilities are just flat out insane and would be god moding in a roleplay so I'm going to tweak them here.

-Calamitas is capable of both walking and flight, being able to both at rather high speeds in the air. Being head butt or tackled by her would certainly break a few ribs.

-Calamitas uses brimstone magic which is essentially a combination of fire and dark magic, her flames which can be formed into whips, blades, and projectiles both burn her foes and their souls as well which is probably extra painful.

-Being a witch Calamitas is good at hexing her opponents which can weaken them both physically and mentally.

Physical Enhancements: Not being able to permanently die is a pretty major enhancement, Calamitas is also incredibly hardy able to take much more damage than her relatively unassuming huamnoid appearance would suggest.

Weaknesses: Calamitas doesn't have many physical weaknesses, she can be defeated with enough damage but it will take a while. Her real weaknesses are psychological, the death's of her family, her dark magic, her brother's botched necromancy, Yharim's mind control and manipulation, the curse inflicted in her eye, and her general paranoia makes Calamitas's primary weaknesses mental ones. She's has a fragile pscyhe and breaking it even more than it already is could certainly make her easier to defeat. Or it could just piss her off more.

Theme Song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysBWFTxxoak (this techincally is the theme song for the weaker version of her, but I personally like it more.)

Quote: "Don't get me wrong, I like pain too, but you're just ridiculous."

Codex: The Hired Gun

Name: Codex

Age: Exact age/date of creation is unknown though she does act and look like an adult

Gender: Female

Species: Artificial humanoid

Occupation: Mercenary for hire or bounty hunter

Personality: Codex doesn’t really have one “personality”, she actually has a variety though perhaps not in the way you’re thinking. Being a glorified android she is capable of heightening or muting certain emotions, or even turning them off entirely to fit her purpose. Does a job demand doing something of questionable ethics? Switch her morales off till after she pulls the trigger. Trapped in an enemy base with little hope of survival and panic setting in? Get rid of the fear! Can’t relax because of guilt? Make it go away and rest for a while! All of Codex’s emotions will return to normal levels automatically after a certain amount of time and she can’t not tamper with that specific one for a while after so she’s unable to permanently alter her personality. Untouched Codex’s personality is that of someone who is just trying to look out for herself and failing at that more often than not. Her heart is a bit too soft for the jobs she takes but it can’t always be turned off, meaning Codex tends to cycle between to phases of her personality: A direct and calm mercenary who always goes straight to the point but is strangely tender for her profession and the same but with all emotions relating to attachment disabled. Codex has noticed that it seems that the cool down times in which her emotions return to normal have been increasing in regards to her sentimental emotions. Even when in cool down mode Codex still tries to act aloof but isn’t that good at it.

Bio: I have NO idea yet.

Current Residence: Her ship, it’s not very large, meant for one or two people and has all the amenities that one would expect. A small bed, bathroom, and med bay, these are mostly for any guests she may host for whatever reason. Though Codex doesn’t really need these much herself seems to enjoy having all three of them.

Weaponry: A lot of laser based weapons, mostly arm mounted lasers. They’re attaches to her and when not in use seemingly sink into her skin.

Abilities:

-Conversion: Codex is able to copy the traits of people or things around her by touching them for a limited amount of time. This can only be used every twelve hours and only one trait can be copied at a time. For example: She can touch a stone to turn her body rock hard.

-Cyber Space Traveler: Codex’s body can break down into code and enter computers, she is able to travel through cyber space or the wiring of the device she has entered and exit through a different computer. Inside cyber space, Codex can interact with coding in order to hack, steal data, or corrupt things.

Physical Enhancements:

-Toasty!: Being like a computer or machine, Codex has a power source inside of her that gives off more heat that a normal human would. While it’s not very noticeable most of the time it has been noted that Codex has an aura of warmth around her in cold climates.

-Enhanced Reflexes: Not surprisingly, Codex was built to be pretty fast both physically and in regards to her reaction times.

Weaknesses:

-Glass Canon: It only takes one or two well placed punches to knock an unconverted Codex out. She might have be quick draw but none of that matters if her opponent makes contact with her.

-Toasty!: It is possible for Codex to overheat, while this doesn’t really happen in normal climates if she over exerts herself in areas with a high ambient temperature Codex’s movements can slow and she can even pass out.

-Emotional: As said before, Codex is a softy even if she doesn’t want to be. Removing her emotions only works for so long and once they’re back it takes a while to remove them again, meaning during these periods emotional attacks can work as well as psychical ones.

Theme Song: TBA

Quote: “I know “nothing personal” is a cliche but in this case it’s really true. Sorry.”

NOTE: This picture is a place holder, but it’s pretty accurate to my final design of her.

Rules! My Style

Read everything here! There’s something important at the bottom.

A quick note that’s not really a rule, I like to write in the third person BUT can do first if need be. Just so you know what to expect.

I will only friend/accept friend requests of people who are 18 or older. Being an adult myself I’m more comfortable with playing with other adults.

1. I have virtually no limits when it comes to 18+ content aside from smut. I will not roleplay smut. Do not ask me to roleplay smut. I'm totally fine with it and am okay with implied stuff with fade to black scenes but I will NEVER write it. If you like to roleplay this stuff and I friend you it's probably me just asking if it's a must in your roleplays. If you friend me then ask me to play smut I will report you. I don’t kink shame but don’t tolerate people ignoring my comfort zone either.

2. No weird stuff. By that I mean vore, inflation, age change, giant/mini, that sort of stuff. Even if it's not sexual I get bad feelings from stuff like that so don't try to get me to roleplay that either. If you like to roleplay this stuff and I friend you I'm probably just asking if it's a must in your roleplays.

3. I am not well versed with romance, but am willing to try it IF our characters have the proper chemistry and their relationship progresses organically. Most of my OCs are bisexual/biromantic so they would be happy to hook up with anyone. A few will only have platonic relationships with your characters though.

4. This is kind of a combination of rules 1 and 3, my characters will only advance their intimate relationship with a character that is mostly humanoid/demihuman (alien, robot, fantasy race, centaur, naga, etc.), has the intelligence of or greater than an adult human, is fully mature in their own culture, and is capable of giving their consent in a clear to understand manner. Going off this I do not wish to play with characters too far under the age of 18, I have seen profiles with very young children as their main character and putting them in inappropriate settings. I would also prefer if the person I am playing with is also 18 or older. I’m only in my early 20's but I still feel more comfortable playing with a legal adult in case our roleplay becomes 18+ in themes (as in one I mentioned above, it wouldn’t be smut but violent, profane, etc content). Anyone younger than 16 will be automatically denied.

5. I tend to play OCs or canon characters of fandoms I am very familiar with, they tend to be video game or anime characters. I tend to butcher the personalities of characters of other series and have been given sh*t for doing so before. If you ask me to play a character I am not super familiar with you better be patient with my writing and potentially clumsy grasp of said character.

6. The pictures I use for my OCs tend to appear rather cartoony, that's because I like to design them myself. I have a limited skill in art and use dollmakers or a 3D modeling program to design them as opposed to using faceclaims (though I sometimes do). These characters do not have to be a cartoon/anime settings though I can easily picture them as "live action" if need be and hope you are willing to do so as well.

7. Character profiles for some of my favorite OCs are in my blog, feel free to check them out.

9. I like to write in paragraph form, maybe a few paragraphs per post if there's enough material to work with. I prefer quality over quantity so don't worry about matching my length, but please try to provide at least a paragraph per post.

10. ((I write OOC like this)) (small little remarks that are still in character like this) "dialogue like this" *and thoughts like this*.

11. Do not control my character, something minor like saying you directed my character’s attention somewhere or something similar is fine though.
ex. “A showed B the letter, “read this” they said. When B finished A asked, “you know what this means?”

12. R-E-S-P-E-C-T

13. If I don’t reply for more than two days without warning hit me up and ask what’s going on. Sometimes my computer doesn’t send or receive messages on this site so I’m likely not ghosting, just thinking it’s your turn. If something happens in my real life I will let you know before hand.

14. I have a life outside of role playing, I am a full time college student who has finals coming up. The progress towards my degree comes first, roleplaying second. I love to roleplay but I cannot guarantee I’ll be on constantly, even if it says I am online that might just be because I left the site up on my computer or phone.

15. Tell me which number I skipped when you propose a roleplay to me so I know you read this! Heart it too please.

Nephilim: The Monster

((Currently under construction, you can play with her but just know that her character sheet isn't really cleaned up yet.))

Name: Nephilim

Age: 65

Gender: Female

Species: Varies but this profile is if she were a demidemon

Personality: Nephilim is a difficult person to pin down when it comes to personality, mostly because she is for the most part unable to express herself in any way. A slab of steel over her face keeps her mouth permanently closed and limbs pinned to her sides Nephilim can barely move, let alone try to communicate. What is known is she's angry. Very angry. On the rare occasions that she is freed from her bindings she's shown as a ticking time bomb. Lashing out if someone gets too close too many times or pushes her too much.

Due to Nephilim's violence only being documented against those keeping her in containment it is hypothesized she may not attack unrelated civilians, no one has tried to test this hypothesis though because that would mean bringing Nephilim into contact with people unaware of her existence, a threat of national security. Also if she were to attack an innocent civilian the loss of morale of those working with Nephilim would be serious.

Bio: In 1947 the United States military reported that the mysterious accident at a a ranch in Roswell New Mexico was merely the result of a crashed weather balloon. Conspiracy theorists claimed this to be a cover up, saying it was the crash site of an alien craft. The military heavily denied these claims, adding fuel to the fire of the belief of a cover up and the existence of aliens. Even to this day the theories continue, those spreading the rumors unknowingly aiding in an even larger cover up. The truth is something foreign did come to earth that fateful day, but it wasn’t from the stars. It was from Hell.

“Hell” wasn’t exactly the right word for the origin of the visitor, perhaps more the basis of Hell. Another dimension full of fire, brimstone, and monstrosities beyond our imagining. The visitor itself was relatively normal compared to what was seen through the portal before it closed. Six feet tall, humanoid, and covered entirely in deep red stone like scales.

The visitor was disoriented from its shift in dimension and relatively docile, allowing itself to be taken by the military and brought to a facility designed to house anything and everything the government deemed unsafe for the public. Medical testing on the visitor proved it to be female, and talk began of perhaps created a half human half demon super soldier (because these people make good choices) thus, in 1948 Project Nephilim was created.

Artificial insemination of the still docile visitor was successful however the gestation period was five years. During this time the visitor began to grow more and more aggressive, eventually attacking anyone who entered her containment cell on sight if they were not there to deliver meals, but even then food delivery personal needed to stay as far from her as possible to avoid an attack. This was deemed not out of the ordinary by officials, thinking it was a trait mothers of the visitor’s kind gained to protect their soon to be born young.

When Nephilim was finally born her mother delivered her alone in her chamber, lashing out with stone limbs at anyone who approached to try to help. The labor was fast, done within ten minutes, a strange climax for a five year wait. The visitor held her child for two minutes, staring down at her before throwing Nephilim against a wall, ready to kill her. The guards on duty opened fire first, taking the visitor down before further damage to the only half demon in existence could be dealt.

Many years and surgeries later Nephilim is still a prisoner within Area 51. Her aggressive tendencies have made it unlikely that she will serve in real combat any time soon but she continues to be augmented with devices that would likely fail or even kill a normal person in preparation of a day where she will be put in the field. Nephilim herself dreams of escape which will likely not occur in the near future, but seeing as she hasn’t aged past her late twenties chances are she’s got plenty of time.

Current Residence: Deep within Area 51

Abilities: Nephilim has increased healing abilities and an ability to “turn off” her pain receptors for short periods of time (a maximum of ten minutes). The bandages coating her body heal much like her skin, and provide some defense from minor abrasions.

Physical Enhancements: Nephilim has been augmented beyond belief, her legs have been replaced with steel peg like structures that allow her to be surprisingly nimble, going so far as allowing her to run across water thanks to thousands of tiny spikes that deploy at the tips of her feet. These balance out her weight, letting her move swiftly. Nephilim has access to four robotic tentacles at her back which are handy as well. When her arms are bound in a reinforced straight jacket they serve as her only real defense.

Weaknesses: Nephilim’s pain receptors will “turn back on” after a ten minute period, during this all pain Nephilim would have experienced is doubled. Though her body will survive the shock and she doesn’t express the pain in her face she feels this and can be incapacitated from the pain. She also has a strange weakness to steel, injuries inflicted by steel weapons take much longer to heal and if the cause of an injury remains inside her it will not heal. Nephilim's limbs are helpful but are rigged to harm her should she disobey orders, her legs will freeze up, her tentacles will strangle her, and she will be electrocuted into submission. It seems after four attempted breaches she's finally figured that out. Her right eye is blind, a result of her mother's attack when she was born, meaning she lacks depth perception.

Theme Song: Anything from the 20's, a researcher did an experiment using different types of music to see if any had a positive impact on Nephilim. Fun swing music improves her mood significantly.

Quote: She’s not going to be saying anything anytime soon, you know, because of the plate stuck to her mouth.

(Depending on the roleplay, Nephilim can be more of an extra dimensional entity from a parallel universe and/or some sort of experiment instead of demonic.)

Kionah: The Normal

Name: Kionah Ekiir

Age: 23

Gender: Female

Species: Human

Personality: I’ll get to this eventually, she is a completed character and is available to play with. This section is always my least favorite part to do so it might be a little till I fill this out.

Bio: Kionah doesn’t really have much to say on her childhood. She grew up in a nice neighborhood in a big city, had a pair of parents who loved her immensely, and did decent in school. Nothing really stands out in her early years as note worthy save for one thing, at the age of six Kionah vanished on her way home from school and was missing for two weeks. She was finally found on her parents doorstep unconscious but unharmed save for two things. On the name of her neck was a small tattoo of a solid black open hand in a black circle. The other was her hair, once long and brown it maintained its length but had been bleached silver. It was quickly discovered this wasn’t the result of a chemical like peroxide or bleach, but Marie Antoinette Syndrome. Kionah had underwent something so traumatizing her hair literally turned white from fright. She honestly has no memory of this event or what happened during these two weeks though and hasn’t let it really affect her current life. She doesn’t like telling people about why her hair is this color and just says she’s kind of albino.

At twenty Kionah received and inheritance from a distant aunt, giving her a large house in a city away from her home and a fair amount of money. She jumped at the opportunity and moved out, taking up residence with her friends and girlfriend.

At some point along the line Kionah got into an accident, taking off her left arm. Her aunt’s fortune once again came into play though and Kionah was fitted with a state of the art mechanical one that seems to work just as well as her real arm. She’s beginning to wonder who this aunt is.

Today Kionah and her possibly soon to be fiancé Emelia act as the moms and support in a house made of a bunch of emotional, super powered, crazy people their age. Why all of them live together is unknown, but Kionah is considering trying to get themselves a reality show. It might be haunted too so that’s a plus.

Current Residence: “The House” as it is referred to by its residents.

Equipment: Aside from her arm, she doesn’t really have anything out of the ordinary. A purse with essentials for a girl in a big city, gum, money, pepper spray, a pocket knife, tissues, sunglasses, etc.

Abilities: The patience of a saint.

Physical Enhancements: Kionah’s arm is stronger than a normal person, it makes it helpful to wrangle things.

Weaknesses: Aside from her arm Kionah is a normal person through and through, she also does bad with pain and can take too long to make choices. Considering aside from one other boy everyone in the house have super human abilities from the powers of a thunder god to wings. She’s pretty ordinary all things considered.

Theme Song:

Quote: “My parents are really new age. They made their own last name together since they thought it sounded cool, kids would tease me of course but I still kind of like it.”

Other: If it isn’t obvious, if you play with Kionah any relationship between our characters would be platonic friendship. Kionah is in a committed relationship and isn’t looking to cheat on her girlfriend.
