O. O. B. E.

Due to the intense feelings overwhelming him, he doesn't manage to eat a single thing, nor to get up for anything constructive.
Continuosly drifting off from the few hours of consciousness, he ends up falling into a brief coma, without even realising it.

He opens his eyes and finds himself in what would appear a really vast and luxurious garden, with a massive lake, trees, bridges and lanterns every here and there, often on the ground by weirdly shaped rocks.
Foxes everywhere, running as if in a national park entirely dedicated to them.
WonPil is absolutely certain to be having a dream, maybe a pleasant one, for a change. For the first time in so long, he doesn't feel cold, but at perfect ease. Maybe because of the awareness to be dreaming, he isn't scared nor worried, even of the possibility to see someone appear. He instantly thinks that at least two of his children would simply love that place. Maybe even WuXin.

He sits on a rock next to the entrance of a bridge, enjoying the gentle touch of sun on his skin. No wonder it's a dream, it has been snowing even in the desert, where would there be any sun in Nortrig right now?
A fox kit with golden fur suddenly climbs on his leg, reaching his lap, where it stretches it's front paws against his chest.
WonPil caresses it and the fox doesn't show any fear. «Do you live here? You should go to umma, I don't think she'd like you to have gone so far from here.»
He stands up, carrying the foxy with him, intending to find where its family is. He walks through the bridge and starts to circle the lake, wondering if the golden foxes are on the opposite side.

Reached the farthest end from where he found the kit, he notices a circular patio, close to the limit of an emerald wood. Not the usual spooky and unappealing one, he thinks it would probably be a wonderful place with a picnic with family, on a sunny Sunday.
Taking a second glance at the patio, he realises that it's not empty. There is someone inside of it, who is looking in his direction.
WonPil gathers some courage and decides to approach. Maybe that's the owner of the garden, or just another character of this delusion his mind is making up.

Close enough, he can't help but notice that the size of the man standing in the patio is much bigger than any auriold or human he has ever met. Wonderful. Did his mind decide to put an end to the peace right away, by creating some flesh-eating giant.
WonPil stops walking and bows to the man, less hesitantly than he would, if he wasn't sure that nothing is real. «Annyeong.» Since it's his dream, he has only been speaking Korean all along.
The other is wearing a strange robe, clearly eastern in style, but not in the Empire fashion. It's white, with exquisite red, green, black, blue and gold details and accessories. In WonPil's tastes, the man looks beautiful and noble. His nine, golden tails are decorated with rings of silver and emeralds, just like the hairpin locking part of his golden hair in a small ponytail behind his head.
Two locks of hair running down to the belt height frame the pale face. There is also a mask, very similar to that of WonPil's cloth, to the side of his head.
For a moment he wonders if that person is, somewhat, the representation of what he wishes he was himself. Big, dignified, confident and handsome.

«This place… it's so lovely. Do you live here?»
«No. But I come here whenever I have the chance», replies the other, in a kind and soothing tone.
WonPil can't remember anyone ever talking to him like that. «Oh… too bad. I think that I would like to live here. I could build a cabin by the lake, over there.» He glances at the water surface, reflecting the sky and the sun.
«In it not a bit too far, for you? To live here, one has to leave everything behind.»
«Mollayo how far it is, but at least I wouldn't be lonely here. These cheerful fellows would come to keep me company.» He lifts the golden fox kit to show him.
The other takes the furball from his hands and places if on the ground; the foxy happily hops towards the woods.
«Being here, away from anyone, would be worth it? This place can relax your soul, but can it be a home to you?»
«I don't have a real home. Just an ugly, haunted building in the worst place in the world. You should know it. At least it's warm and beautiful here.»
«You can stay. But that will mean you will not see the people in your heart for a long time. Are you sure it is what you want?»
WonPil sighs. «Almost everyone hates me, even the people I love. I can't help but know that my children, even those who remember me, would live much better without ms. Hao should have let me die. They would have gotten over it, after a bit, and live happily with only one parent. Now, they are just info constant stress because of me and the fact nobody will accept me.»
«The House of Fox is not a free gateway.»
WonPil tilts his head. «What does it mean?»
«You know.»
He has a suspect of what the other could mean, but would prefer a clear answer, regardless it's just his mind playing tricks. «Can you remind me of it better?»
«Sometimes, it takes a new damage to fix previous damage.»
He snorts. «I don't see how this should make it more clear to me…»
«You will see, when ready to accept it.»
«Depends on how I wake up.»
«Do you want to wake up?»
WonPil looks up at the other, then down, remaining silent.
«There is sun.»
«Mollayo…»

_You will wake up, home_ a disembodied, soft whisper echoes across the entire place. Everything vanishes from his sight, in a beam of blinding, golden and green light.

«GoldFire…»

WonPil simply disappears from his cell in the House of Wolf, leaving no track. The cell is still locked, no sign or clue of how or what could have happened. He is just inexplicably gone.

Noctis.

He left on foot, without really taking a precise direction from TiHao's home. He just ran for a while, then slowed down but kept walking in the total darkness until he reached some inhabited place.
He has no idea where he is, could be any place, he could even have teleported at some point.
He walks in the deserted alley until he decides to sit. On top of the roof of a gate that leads to an either very old or abandoned house.

A… den!

Following the tracks, they finally reach the deepest, central part of the woods. And right where trees meet with the rocky wall of the mountain, a surprising sight awaits.
There is a hut, although, it doesn't look like a proper house-like one. More like… a strange grassy igloo. A den.
www.roleplay.me/photo/3338889 — Smaller and without the smoke.

Around the den is something like a labyrinth of tiny bamboos, planted into the ground, like a clumsy attempt to fencing. It can't keep people away from the den, but it certainly makes it hard for most animals to get there uninvited.
The entrance to the strange refuge is covered by a simple square of thick branches tied together. The improvised door is just learnt to the building — if it can be called so — without any tyings to it.

Thanks to being deep in the woods and with the rocky wall behind, the area is a bit warmer than the rest.

Visions of the Past: Revelations.

The vision opens with WonPil, walking down the stairs in Shiinden. He is wearing one of his typical outfits: huge hoodie, sweatpants and trainers. But he has a backpack on his shoulders.

WonPil stops by the House of Peacock, looks around, wears his magical headband - that grants him a decoy that makes him unrecognisable by anyone he doesn't want to be recognised by - and steps inside.
He heads straight to the rose, as a silver Knight he doesn't encounter issues, and just plucks three petals that he hurries ro hide inside the central pocket of the sweater.

Done that, WonPil walks out of the House of Peac*ck and, again, looks around, acting suspiciously shady.
He proceeds towards the House of Rabbit. There, he reaches the kitchen and takes something like a small cookie from one of the ovens. He wraps it in an handkerchief and leaves.

He enters the House of Fox, shortly after, and proceeds to the bathroom, where he locks himself up.
He takes a deep breath. He is nervous to death, his whole body shakes. He approaches the mirror and looks at himself for a moment, then crouches and covers his face with hands.
He starts to sob. ~ I shouldn't do it… I must not, I can't. I must be crazy… but what will I do, if not…?
After several minutes, WonPil shakes his head and stands up.
He takes off his clothes - which doesn't discourage Lani from continuing to watch - and… drinks the gender swap potion, quickly turning into a woman. The usual woman.
In that form, he takes a shower and wears new clothes from that backpack he had with him.
This is the outfit he wears: www.roleplay.me/photo/3309189
He also rubs the rose petals all over his skin, then on the clothes and hair too.
The rose influence is so strong that even TiShan would feel a slight tickle down there, if he was present.

He hastily folds the clothes he wore before and gets out of the bathroom, leaving all his things there. He has the rose petals in one hand, tightly hidden in his fist.
WonPil stops in front of the door of the room of requirements. Takes a few deep breathes and closes his eyes. He remains there for a few minutes, in that pose, finding the courage to proceed.

When he is mentally ready, he eats the cookie and finally opens the door.
To Lani's absolute shock, the room they find themselves into is no less than the living room of TiHao's old house in Fengshii. Since Lani was there before it was renewed, he can tell without a doubt that the version of said room isn't the current one. Which leaves him to wonder: how, why, what.
WonPil turns increasingly nervous at every passing second and his thoughts turn into a storm of insecurities, regrets and attempts to convince himself to continue.
~ It's too late. I can't give up right now. It's too late.

Beyond any possible expectations, at least for Lani, the room of requirements also leads to the other parts of TiHao's old and creepy house, through the doors. As if it literally just turned itself into the real living room of that past version of the house.
Soon enough, Lani's questions get all their answers: TiHao himself appears. But it's clear from the first glance that it's a very different TiHao from the one he knows. Even different from when they first met.

* A moment in time after TiHao returned from war, but before he reached the point where he was practically letting himself die, when Sao saved him.
Before being sent to Earth.

And there, Lani suddenly realises that 1 WonPil somehow found out something unexpected and peculiar about the room of requirements and 2 the seemingly nonsensical visions of the past WonPil keeps watching aren't so nonsensical, after all.

How things go when that version of TiHao finds an 'half naked' intruding woman in his house only his RPer can know. But WonPil went there for that specific purpose, therefore, it was consensual.
The only thing that is sure is that WonPil walks out of the room of requirements pregnant.

WonPil rushes to the bathroom, when back, and remains in there for a while and eventually taking another, long shower.
When he finishes to wash, he wears back his manly clothes and walks out of the bathroom with his stuff. He approaches the fireplace near the couch and first throws the feminine outfit inside, then the rose petals.
That explains the strange residues at the bottom of the magic fire Lani found that strange evening and also the rose scent in the House of Fox.

After disposing of everything, WonPil curls up on the couch and starts to cry, just few minutes before being found by Rin.
Lani sits next to him and stares at the fire in silence for some time.
«Why did you do it…?» he eventually asks.
«I don't want to be alone… I can't be alone… it was the only way…» answers WonPil, sobbing.
«How did you do that with the room of requirements, make it time travel?»
«If the room can be anything you need, anywhere you need, I thought it could also be anytime you need…»
«How did you find out if could do that?»
«i needed a way to go back in time, for real. A way to change the past.»
«When? What did you need to change in the past?»
«I wanted to kill me. When I wanted to kill me. I had to do it in a time when my ZiZi would be too little to suffer from it.» Back in that period when he was in that mental state, nothing new or more recent.
Lani sighs and rubs his face. «Why did you choose that time, why didn't you choose a more recent time, when TiHao was already with you? It would have been easier… safer…»
«I couldn't risk.»
«Risk what? This was much more risky to me.»
«Risk to feel too happy… and then… continuing to go there… to live that lie over and over again…»

Napping.

He is resting in the House of Fox, on the couch.
Casually, Jackil is there, watching over the babies. He sure is spending a lot of time in Shiinden and around WonPil, lately.
