Encounter.

(...)

After vising Shiinden with WuXin, he is taken back to Yung manor, where he left the steed.
He mounts and flies away to head straight back home, but after some time, when by now he crossed the Fengshii borders, he reaches a zone where mist is especially thick. So much that it's impossible to see even at a brief distance and it occurs that a lost raven smashes on his face, forcing him to an emergency landing.

Thankfully he reaches the ground relatively unspoiled, but due to the rough landing, he hurts his ankle.
He gets off the steed and wipes the blood from his face, realising it's quite a mess and he could use some water to clean and refresh his face before being able to get back on the flight again.
He happens to be by a village, a place he has definitely never seen before.
He walks through the main road, looking around, with shivers and a very bad feeling within. "Is there anyone?" he asks, but in a rather low and hesitant tone. There doesn't seem to be a single soul, but he notices that from the biggest house, ahead, there is smoke coming from the chimney and there even seem to be some lights on.

He limps towards the palace, but it's clearly not in a better shape than the rest of the village. It seems old and abandoned, regardless the signs of life. When he is inside the garden, crossed the gate, all the things HyunPil told him come back to his mind, including the pictures he showed of the place and the manor. It makes his blood freeze. Although it's TiHao's family home, it's not a place he has ever wished to visit. But who the hell is inside that house?
Before he could even decide what to do, he notices someone at the window of the first floor, like a shadow, moving fast away from it.

Having little doubts of where the 'entity', whatever it was, is heading, WonPil starts to run, ignoring the pain from his ankle.
He can hear and feel that he is being chased, but the adrenaline rush and the fact he can command the steed with mind, help him to get on the motorbike and fly the hell out of there at crazy speed.

When back to TiHao's home, he rushes inside, locking the door many times and panting like there is no tomorrow.

Special day.

Finding out that he missed only for a couple of days in Nortrig relieved him a lot. He had been thinking about how to make TiHao's birthday special and he couldn't stand the idea he might have missed it.

The Seelie though, with all the possible negativities one can try to think, gave him two very valuable things: a passage to Earth that doesn't require portal or other types of magic that would disturb him and a way to solve the long-distance problem without teleportation.
He can simply access the Court from Nortrig and leave to Earth the same way and back, plus he can use his steed-motorbike to go far and fast without needing a teleportation. For some reason, even if the court and the steed still use magic, it doesn't disturb him since it's not as visible as for spells and it doesn't affect him in any way.

It all helps him to be more effective in his evil plots regarding organising surprises for TiHao's birthday.
Initially he thought he'd really he naked whole day, but since Kun came to live with them, he wouldn't feel at ease to do that, even if he is blind and doesn't leave the room often.

He leaves the house a few times during the precious day and the same day, while TiHao is busy with Sao, taking profit of his absence to do all his things.
Of course he warns Kun and asks him if he wants to join too, but understands if he is too depressed.

For the evening itself he just planned something between them, then the next day a surprise party. He already sent the invitation to everyone they know, and don't hate, acting suspicious as f*** to Wonho's eyes.

Mysteries.

The day they return from the battlefield, TiHao and WonPil are forced to part, since all the soldiers who went to war have to go through some procedures: one day of isolation to make sure they didn't get cursed by the enemy and during that time, they have to write reports on the happening to send to the Ministry of War.

WonPil has to return to Yung manor to wait till TiHao will be free to return home.

The day pass and the night too, he went to sleep in his room quite early and in the morning next, his bed is empty.
No track of him anywhere in the house.
The dogs didn't make any mess nor there are signs someone broke in.
Also, WonPil's boots are outside the door, meaning he didn't wear shoes.

His plan.

What's written on the paper he hands to TiHao.

| My Plan.

So that nobody knows why I came here for real, I invented that Francis came to give me a letter that General Zhendong needed me to hand to harabeoji.
I made it look like a prank from Francis. I asked someone else to write the message inside, so that harabeoji won't recognize my handwriting.

To come here safely I asked my uncle to order Officer Chan to accompany me and protect me until I return, so that nothing could happen to me in this dangerous area.
I also brought grenades that i modified myself when in North Korea, they can blow 5 people each.

I came in total safety and nobody can suspect the real reason why I came here! So you have really noooo reason to get angry!! |

Ice night.

After being done with everything, he intended to head back to TiHao despite it was that late. He had no intention to have dinner with the others, although they even forced him to set the table.
Before he could reach the gate, he saw TiHao comes back in that mood and he guessed what happened.

Not thinking to be in the position to go to him, he decides to go out on his own, to come up with an idea to make it up for him or to at least make TiHao forgive him.
While about to walk inside a market, someone stops the car near him and honks. "WonPil?"
He turns around, confused, not even recognizing the person at first. He looks around and seen he is the only person there, he approaches. "Me?"
"Did you forget about me? I'm Johnny Chen!"
"Oh... annyeonghaseyo..."
"Join me for a drink! Get on the car!"
"Just for a little while..." he murmurs and gets in.
The two just go to a bar and have a couple of drinks, reminding of when they met in Pyongyang.
While chatting, Johnny says he has a job to do and asks WonPil to help him with it.
Since it doesn't seem a big deal, he accepts and asks Johnny to lean his phone to send a text to TiHao and warn him. He is too naive to realise it is probably going to annoy him even more.

| It's WonPil... mianhe...
I casually met an old chingu who needs my help with something. I'll come home a little late... but not too late, it shouldn't take long. Just a little...
Better if you don't answer to this text since I have to return the phone to him now.
Good night...
Ps. Don't worry, I'm going to erase the message so he won't be able to read it... |

That's the last heard from him, till the next morning.

He didn't come back whole night.
He returns to their villa, entering from the back door at around 6 am. He locks that same door all the possible times, then slowly walks towards the stairs to go to their room.
He stops in front of the door, not moving from there.
He looks a bit weird. His hair and clothes are slightly wet, but he is not soaked in water nor anything. Like dew fell on him.
