Could it really be?

He actually thinks to have found where the hostages are being kept, but he can have no way to confirm if it's true or if it's just a coincidence.
What happened to Deidara doesn't help to make him any more confident, especially since Coco too is nowhere to be found. He doesn't get close to where Tero is staying, since he fears his magic could see beyond his headband.

He tries to stick close to Sangpil as much as he can, but he also has to find Coco and that's what he tries to do, wandering in the Palace while carrying a tray, in hope that nobody will stop him.

비애

It's a rough time for him, but at least he is well trained in stuff like transforming his feelings into guilt or just choking them until they disappear, if he really can't find a way to make it all his fault. It's the most wrong way possible to manage feelings, but it seems to kinda work with him, somehow.

This time, though, he had some help from the egg he found in that strange place inside the House of Phoenix. He realised he had it, and that it even grew a little, so he gave for granted it was still alive and therefore, worth to be taking care of.
He started to dedicate to it, doing all he could to make it safe and warm, so that maybe one day it would hatch. And as he started to take care of it actively, the egg began to grow exponentially, much more than the size of a reasonable bird egg.

The idea that something dangerous could come out of it never even crossed WonPil's mind for a second. He kept thinking about a big bird or a big tenshu, but in any case, nothing scary.

Needless to say, WonPil's dedication to the egg started to annoy Peach really bad. Despite she keeps acting like a total bitch with her appa, she is jealous nonetheless and totally bothered but all the attention he is giving to that stupid egg.
She didn't restrain herself from making rather nasty comments when close to him with the egg, simply out of, pretty much, unjustified annoyance. She never pretended to be a fair one.

The 'peak' though arrived when the egg started to get bigger than an Easter one and glowing. In addition to that strangeness, Peach began to have some strange and worrying feelings around that egg, like that it's something unnatural and dangerous, which made her even worse about the matter.

At midnight, the situation escalates in an argument between the two, or rather, Peach shouting at WonPil.

She tries to get the egg away from his hands, but he doesn't let go. "WHY MUST YOU BE SO DUMB, WHY DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND IT'S DANGEROUS!"
Fearing that the egg will break or the creature inside will be damaged, he finally lets go, but Peach had let go in the same instant and the egg falls on the floor, cracking on the back.

WonPil looks down at the 'frittata' as the liquid starts to leak out and make a little pond around the broken egg, only being totally disappointed and depressed by the happening.
He turns around and runs away without saying a word.

(╥﹏╥)

He is left totally astonished by TiHae's behaviour towards him. He is like shocked and unable to react to it, beside just throwing himself down, metaphorically, since she was good enough at throwing him on the ground and he definitely stayed there until someone forced him up.

There we go... again!

Room ready, candles lit, WonPil ready.
They get on the bed, they start and... all of a sudden, TiHao's phone starts to ring.
They ignore and continue.
Less than a minute after, WonPil's phone rings.
They ignore and continue, but with some annoyance.
Another minute and both their phones start to ring at the same time.
If not for else, that's starting to get worrying enough to be forced to stop and see what is it.

LaNi Is the one phoning. Yes, he is using two phones to call them both at the same time. And he is getting annoyed by the wait.

Start.

So, he met YiFan and despite being so down, he managed to pretend to be ok in front of him so that he could give him a warm welcome. But without actually feeling any better. That kind of situation is worse than a torture for him, and pretty much feeds his complexes.
He isn't angry at TiHao, he fully blames himself for everything, from start to end, with all his self-made theories as for why it's all his own fault.

The day proceeds, with multiple, long, bathroom breaks for him and eating almost nothing. And randomly cleaning the house, even if it's already clean. He doesn't even know it's solar new year's eve. (In Xhuanghen they follow the lunar calendar, meaning it's not their end of the year but like on Earth they can celebrate both.)
What he remembers for sure is that the 1st of Zivhurlhor, the upcoming day, is TiHae's first month of life.

At night, after preparing the children for bed, he goes to sleep like any other day.
