Welcome! Jumping right in, you should know that I treat every RP as a potential long term story, whether it gets there or not. I love detailed world building, dramatic buildup, character arcs, and intense conflicts.
Settings can be anything from high fantasy to futuristic to apocalyptic, virtual, or multiverse, as long as they are somewhat relatable. And of course, real life as long as we can make it interesting.
I prefer originality over fandoms. Much of my inspiration comes from the real world instead of from other people's work. But not all! Some ideas are just too tempting not to steal.
Writing takes effort and lots of brain power and I think a thrilling and long lasting RP is something to be proud of. So let's create something we can be proud of! I like to think that my writing is pretty okay, yet I have such a long way to go to where I want to be that it's humbling. Sometimes others can see my shortcomings much better than I can, so I always welcome feedback. My goal is to keep you excited about the next post and always looking forward to future events, while also having fun myself.
I have my preferences and things I avoid, but I'm not going to list them here. If you are craving a triggering theme, we can try it. I will let you know if I don't like something. Anything has potential if done well, and I think it's better to try it and find out case by case.
With that said, I'm open to including sexual themes, and encourage romance, but I'm not looking to write out the act of having sex. If it feels like we're writing the script for a porn movie, I'll probably get bored. Exceptions can be made, but I'm here mostly for the plot, character development, and tension.
Even though my characters have modern life face claims, I like to include at least some fictional elements into most stories. Each of my characters can be modified to fit the RP and your preferences. The characters in my blog are only the ones I've used the most. I have many more, plus I'm open to creating new characters just for our RP.
