He phones Jiyan directly, wanting to know how is the situation and the boy explains the fuss the old granny did before she fell asleep. In truth, he is not surprised but she was really the only relative he could possibly send and he intends to make sure she receives a good treatment regardless her behaviour. They asked for her!!
Days have been truly exhausting for him, he decides to take some time off only himself. He takes his motorcycle and drives around the city for a bit, reaching a certain area. He stays in the room of the building in for a bit. It is his propriety, it is slowly being renewed even if there are currently not workers.

Eventually he heads back. He keeps his helmet on as he visits other places, to hide his identity and avoid either enemies or fan wars. He enters a convenience store to buy some ingredients.

The preparations are all beginning. The fact the place is also safe from undeads makes sure they don't have to work harder on defences, they are able to focus on the project from the beginning. The project is big and expensive, but he thinks it is an investment. He wants the new organization to shine.
Raegan is not always present as he is also dealing with the Pack businesses with Ridgeback, Akita and Wolfdog. He has to ensure the safety within the Pack first of all, as some could still suspect him and try to take him down. There were already some attempts especially when his condition was even worse, mostly from Presa old soldiers.

He heads to the building site together with Ino, to show her how are things are proceeding. He is much better physically, but not completely healed.

After parting from Xiaoyin, he remains in Guyun for a little longer. He hasn't urgent business at hand, plus he is concerned and doesn't really want to leave yet.
Due to his condition, there are always a few Arashi following him as protection. The three walk in the centre, Raegan often checks his phone on the way.

He finally returns to Nyx, Ino remains behind for a little longer, to greet properly her family. She kinda struggles to leave Qi after the nice moments together. He really took her under his wing.

When back, he doesn't waste time and regardless his appearance, he gets back to work. Xiaoyin reports him everything, giving him the work she organized.

Raegan gathers the whole Pack in the common hq, to commemorate Kangal and Corso and then explain the changes and also boost morale. He doesn't bother to explain why he is currently a woman. Ino is also present, always impressed by Raegan's strong presence, the way his attitude doesn't change regardless a 'weaker' appearance.
"We are here today because of a very unfortunate turn of events. As you may have heard, Presa betrayed us, turning against me and Kangal. I thank the Gods for making it out with my life and I'll make sure to continue leading the Pack properly, in Corso and Kangal's memory, making us richer and stronger.
I will soon nominate new heads, after a careful examination."
"We are going to allow you all to nominate someone for the role, your votes will be taken into consideration in Rottwelier's choice." Xiaoyin explains how they can vote then, before to let Raegan proceed.
"From now on, we will be more united than ever. They'll continue to fear us, respect us. With the new government, we'll build a stronger Nyx." He raises his fist, to which, most people in the crowd answer the same way.
After the speech, he meets some journalists to answer their questions, about Kangal, about the Pack and they even ask about his health and current appearance. He answers calmly to everything but never makes mention of Nortrig. He doesn't remain with them for long, as his health still doesn't allow him to do much. Now he really wants to choose carefully who to appoint to lead the Pack with him.

More days pass in Nyx and the situation finds a balance for now, at least with the Pack. Raegan keeps working, organizing things and taking the final decision on the new heads. Among his various plans, he also intends to involve Nortrig. He has no intention of conquering, he is more interested to the idea of preparing at least one settlement as a backup plan, a place to escape to, possibly even a place to safely store weapons and richness. He doesn't know the base of the Stellar Lex is still in one piece but even if he did, he wouldn't deem it safe enough. He is well aware he'll need the support of Lianxi to say the least, to do it.
Raegan prepares to go back to Nortrig, alone, except for Xiaoyin who accompanies him. They seek audience with the King through Cyno and are allowed in.

He is slowly getting better, he is a really tough type after all. When he wakes up, he realizes to be in Nortrig, and notices right away Ino by his bed, head leaning on the bed near his waist.
He slowly sits up, reaching his phone. Of course it exploded in the last days, Xiaoyin is still trying to deal with everything, keeping the information of Kangal's death only between themselves to avoid a crisis in Nyx. She even contacted Taffy's brother to explain him everything, even letting him know about Raegan's condition. She doesn't want Raegan to be suspected, she'd rather sacrifice herself for him even though the whole story they made up is quite solid, with proof able to back it up. *
He starts to listen to all the messages from Xiaoyin, reporting everything. The old lady doesn't write, she sends 5 minutes audios each. XD
He moves the phone aside then, having a headache after all the blabblering. He takes a breath and looks towards Ino for some time. He snaps out when Qi walks inside to check on him and change his bandages. Sure, he could let other lower level assistants do it, but waste the chance to touch a hot man?
"You are awake, beautiful. I'm doctor Huang, I have been assisting you."
"I owe you, doctor." His voice is weaker than usual.
He changes his bandages and gives him the medications. When he is done with everything, he allows visits, warning his 'friends' he woke up.


* Recap: Presa planned to attack Kangal and Rottweiler to take over the Pack and Nyx, but Xiaoyin, who was with Raegan all along, managed to warn the Arashi, but their forces didn't arrive in time to save them all. When they arrived, they fought and killed Presa, but they found Kangal and his wife dead and Rottweiler just one step away from It.
