***+Personality+***

Sybil often struggles to relate to others, and sometimes feels like she can never truly become close with someone, due to her lack of empathy. Despite her lack of certain emotions, she does feel love towards certain people, though she shows it in sometimes odd ways. Sybil wants to fall in love, and settle down, but her current lifestyle wouldn’t allow the life she wanted. She has a short fuse, when under a certain amount of stress, and can lash out at people unintentionally. Her darker thoughts have always intruded on her personal life, and she can find it difficult to pull herself away from them on many occasions.

***+Backstory+***

Sybil had a difficult childhood. Her mother died within the first year of Sybil's life, leaving her with her father. He never wanted a child. The man was caught up in a thuggish life, always bringing home different women, and creating an overall terrible environment for Sybil to grow up in. When she turned 10, her father felt it necessary to start 'training' her to be able to fend on her own. His lessons were brutal, especially for the young girl. They started off with things like whipping her with a belt, slapping her, tugging her hair, and as she got older, he turned to more painful methods. Once even taking a straightened-out fishing hook, and digging it into her back, twisting it around and then pulling it out. All of this was to 'increase her pain tolerance'.

Sybil grew up with the lack of compassion from her father, which affected how she acted towards others in the end. While she was equipped with the ability to be able to defend herself, she wasn't equipped with the feelings of a normal person. Going through school proved to be difficult, because not only was she known to others as some sort of 'ice queen', she was also top of her class. One of those know-it-all girls. She never meant to show off, or give off the vibes that she thought she was better than anybody else, but she did.

Her high school years were a bit easier for her, and by that time she had figured out how to 'blend' with the others, sort of. She had a few friends, and still has one of them to this day, and dated around a bit. Well, a bit isn't the word she'd describe it as. Sybil slept around a lot, and put herself into situations she probably shouldn't have, but she sought the intimacy and love she lacked in her home life.

One day, Sybil was introduced into the horrors that lurked in the world. She walked in on her father, dead. He committed suicide. While he was by no means a good father, she still loved him like he was. Unfortunately for Sybil, he was indebted to a dangerous gang and that debt was passed onto her. She was told to do something and no matter the task, she obeyed. It started with stealing papers, seducing men to get them to say or do something, then it was murder. One thing she had noticed, though, was the satisfaction she gained from killing terrible people. After a few years of working for this gang, they gave her the freedom to leave, but she didn’t. Occasionally taking jobs to blackmail, seduce, and kill malicious men and women, Sybil started a job at the -- Police Department, working as a consultant and using her position to find old cases that slipped behind the cracks.

Police Consultant by day, and justice seeker by night, Sybil enjoys working her double life.

Rules

Rules WIP, but my basics are:

1) Patience is a must. I pretty much work a 9-5 job and would appreciate if I didn’t have spam messages because I haven’t replied for a singe day.

2) I would prefer some sort of romance involved, but totally wouldn’t mind a sort of ‘dad and daughter’ story. (Ex. The Last of Us, Logan, Punisher, nothing weird, ya weirdos.) Even if it isn't a storybook romance, hell it could be a sh*tty one, I need that tension between the characters. (Unless you can bring along a great idea that wouldn't be in need of that.) Honestly, it doesn’t even have to end up being romance, whatever happens, happens.

3) I’ve tried doing shorter writings, but I can’t, so multipara is required. Not 2-3 paras (unless they’re lengthy) more along 4+. That being said, I always try to match my partner's replies. Sometimes I go over, sometimes I come short, but I will always try to be right around what you send. Never will I respond to your 7 para response with 2 paras. Now- If you write a sh*t ton of filler (just maybe things details or something about your character's past) I may not respond exactly with that length, but I'll return the favor with information about m/c.

4) No weird fetishes, please.

5) I really don't want to entirely plan out a story, I'd rather plan out the basics and then go with the flow on most things.

6) I don't mind OOC chat at all, if you wanna talk or anything, feel free to.

7) DISCLAIMER - I am not smart. Okay? I can write well enough, and get my points across, but I don't use fancy words all that often. I'm not all that knowledgeable in historical periods, even though i would like to be. If we do something western or historical, expect me to make things up as I go, or even just flat out ask you. If my character is supposed to be some super genius, just pretend, okay?

8) "Surprises". Okay, let's extend on that. I mean like- Surprise pregnancies, an ex from the past, a random killer popping up. I do not mind it at all, it adds texture to the story. You do not need to ask me, just do it. As long as it doesn't completely not fit in, feel free to add whatever!

9) Back and forth...ing...? You know? When I send a message and you send one 30 minutes later (and so on)... yeah- I've noticed when that happens, the messages tend to get a bit bland, and very short. I feel as if that's because we are responding so quickly, we have no time to think about where the story could go. Because of this, I may take a little extra time to respond, because if I feel the story is going to be... How do I say it- Ruined? Dunno, but I will just slow down my responses.

Ideas

These are just some ideas I’ve had pop into my head, my ideas may not be totally accurate, however this is our own world, so things don’t have to be 100% realistic. They will all be pretty basic, so we can just expand on them together. (* marks ideas that I am really wanting to do.)

A) Blast Off! (Space-ish) *
Muse A is apart of a tech and repair group for NASA, her task along side a few others is to prepare the space shuttle for take off. While working on the communication system, something goes wrong and she gets knocked out where no one would assume to look. Now- This could totally go in many directions. She could be aboard a single man ship, or something bigger, like a shuttle with multiple people. It could go a more realistic route, or sci-fi. This is all up for discussion!

B) Liar.
Muse A is a notorious hitman for a large crime organization, though A’s face is unknown to the world, their alias would grab the attention of anyone. So when A is tasked to get close to the head detective at — Police Department, they are rather confused, and annoyed. A is to learn anything they can about the investigation of the gang, and even lead the detective away from it. But what happens when that ice cold heart starts to melt, and A realizes they can’t do what they’ll have to once the detective is no longer useful? (We can expand on this, and decide if we’re starting from their beginning, or later on in their stories.)

C) Addiction
Muse A is a single parent, who lost their partner. A blames themself, and it weighs down heavily on them. A’s child is young, but old enough to see what’s wrong, and does their best to cheer A up. But it’s not enough to keep A away from their addiction. A starts doing hard drugs, to make the feelings go away. On top of that, A is a police officer, so when A doses off during an important mission, the chief puts them on leave and forces A into a rehab group. Which is where they meet B. (They can be there for whatever reason, innocent or not)

D) TO BE EXPANDED
