Maribel is the embodiment of innocence, from her thoughts all the way to her actions, it's difficult to find anything evil or dark about her. She has a very kind-hearted soul that once you get to know shines brightly. She tends to appear quite lively the longer you are around her, even though she is usually quiet and reserved. While she is considered to have average intelligence, she is a very inquisitive person, always wanting to know more about people and the world around her, even if she's too nervous to speak up and ask questions.

She tends to remain unnoticed by people, remaining quiet and unable to speak up for herself so it's rare that the spotlight is put on her. She has grown used to living like this, but it has affected her emotionally, to the point that she yearns for attention, good or bad. Astrid has always been different than the Petrovas that came before her. Instead of using violence and cruelty to get her way, she believes almost everything can be resolved without excess violence by being diplomatic. Of course, she shouldn’t be seen as weak or a pushover, as she is neither of those things. Those who are deserving of punishment will not be pardoned by her, she is even willing to get her own hands dirty if the situation calls for it. She doesn’t tolerate disobedience, but she still has enough understanding of the world around her to know nobody is perfect.

Astrid is always poised and level-headed, any conflict or negative emotions she keeps on the inside, keeping them bottled up or dealing with them alone. She can be seen as intimidating at times, due to the way that she carries herself, but she is a surprisingly kind person depending on the situation. Her level-headedness seems to disappear when it comes to friends or lovers, so while she would make a good friend or lover, she would need someone who can help her navigate all these new swings of emotions.

One thing that separates her from most vampires, is the fact that she finds humans interesting, much more than cattle to feed on. She likes to learn more about them and frequently traveled to human towns when she was still a princess, blending in to experience being a human. She will avoid killing humans, unlike her father who did it for fun, but she will kill with no hesitation if the humans are a threat to her or her kind.

Temperance has always been considered a genius, excelling in school and any extra circular activities. She always took pride in everything she worked on, from big projects for school to college papers she spent weeks writing. Chaos seems to follow Rose everywhere she goes, and it's usually because of her own mistakes. While she has potential, she isn’t the smartest person, and she gets herself into a lot of bad situations when she acts without thinking. She thinks that she can get away with a lot using her looks and charm, and most of the time that is true, till she stumbles upon a situation that leaves her in deep trouble. But usually, she can worm her way out by being manipulative and flirty

While Rose acts as though she is quite full of herself, she is actually very insecure, rarely even leaving the house without makeup, her hair perfect, and a good outfit on. Without having any other significant talents to fall back on, her looks are what she always tries to make the most noticeable about herself, at the cost of always being anxious about how she looks.

With such an intense need to look perfect and be known for her looks, her relationships seem to revolve more around that and sexual encounters more than a healthy relationship. She tends to settle for less than she deserves, ending up in many abusive and unhealthy relationships, thinking she can’t do better since all she has is a pretty face.
