The zombie apocalypse has been over for two years now, and many have already grieved the undead and dead alike. A majority of society has been back to normal, after a year of the zombie outbreak. Most importantly, all zombies have been either eradicated or taken to labs for testing. Well, all except one. A woman has been bitten, yet never fully transformed into a zombie. As a half zombie, she was discovered by the government, and they have been trying to catch her, as she is one way that another zombie outbreak could happen again. Still, she has managed to escape for the past two years. One day, while in a close encounter with the military, she breaks into a penthouse and hides there.

The owner is a writer, who is struggling to write his next book. When he finds out she is a half-zombie, he allows her to stay under the condition that she tells him her story so he can write a new novel. However, as he spends more time with her, he finds much more than an interesting story.

Personality: Ernas is, well, gloomy as one would expect for someone with her set of powers. This isn't on purpose, her affinity for the dead just often gives her a bleaker perspective on life. However, mostly every other time she is a kind, happy soul who just looks creepy sometimes. It doesn't help she often get cold easily and needs big cloaks to stay warm. She is fun to be around, just make sure to remind her not every situation is bad. She isn't the smartest either, often finding herself lost in difficult conversation, but she's doing her best to learn.
Likes: Cats, sweets, and painting
Dislikes: Wolves, alcohol, and poetry (she will never get it)
Background: Ernas is like any other mage, except for the fact that didn't have a family of her own. She was raise in the orphanage after her parents died, and she was so lonely that her natural magic affinity was revealed. It wasn't good for her though, since her power to control the dead as well as mess with life scared everyone around her. So bad, in fact, that when she resurrected her dead parents, the staff at the orphanage let her live with them (still nice people even as zombies). For some reason, she is a very powerful mage, even if she can only mess with the dead, and after her parents were revived she was much happier. Now she does odd jobs to help her parents out.

Heroes have battled villians since the appearance of powers called "Xenim" thirty years before. The first heroes created academies that trained younger people with Xenim to be able to fight for good, however in the attempt to create many heroes, the academies were overpacked and not every student got enough attention, even though everyone with Xenim was forced to go there. A young girl is one of the few ignore, as her powers are not enough to protect herself. Her friend since childhood, a star student, is unaware of her situation as he no longer takes classes with her. He is set to be one of the biggest heroes ever, as his friend spirals, unable to keep up with the harassment and torture. However, the girl one day is offered the chance to get stronger, an experimental drug she is forced to take by a villian after being kidnapped. While it had killed thousands of test subjects before her, her genetics line up perfectly with the drug and she gains unseen power she can hardly control.

Years pass after the incident with the academy involving the pair, and now the girl is missing, as she has been for years. Of course, the now graduated hero hates her guts after the incident, for many reasons. However, as he sets out into the career of being a hero, a villian appears that seems all too familiar. A villian that happens to be the leader of a revolution that is working to kill all heroes. A villian that happens to be the very childhood friend he hates.

Notes:
-I was thinking the roleplay could switch between the time in the academy and the present where the hero is fighting to take down the villian group. That way the plot could be flushed both in the present of past.
-Gender can be changed, I don't mind at all!

Personality: He is stern, oftentimes to an annoying point of self discipline. He places power as his judge of people, but if someone has a lot of power he will treat them with respect, and has friends he can joke around with. To those weaker than him, he hardly shows any emotion to them

Background: Since humans have been alive, there has been the greed to have power and wealth. From that greed, Dile was born and now feeds on greed and crime. Since it is such a powerful force, Dile isn't summoned very often, so he prefers to try to raise his influence in the demon realm. He often joins parties or makes business deals with other demons, and rose his way up into the ranks of the demon lords.

Powers: Dile is, well, mostly just strong. His powers allow him to summon any weapon he wants but he mostly uses his overwhelming physical strength more than anything else. He can also reinforce his body with magic, as well as many basic spells.
Cost of Summon: Unlike his other counterparts in the Demon Lords, Dile prefers self-sacrifice when it comes to summon him. Most likely, he takes an arm, leg, or even all limbs depending on what task he is made to do. More often than that, though, he takes away and devours the skills of his summoner, meaning they no longer are skillful in the field. What skill he devours rides heavily on what task he was summoned for.
