That's okay, as long as we're all on the same page now. If you have any questions about the story, just let me know. I tend to do some exposition in the starter so it's all clear.
Yeah, if we set is during the trial rather than afterwards. Maybe their last attorny tries to get River to plead guilty, so the family fire him and bring Diego in quite late in the process? He'd have quite a few things to catch up on, and he'd be walking into a pretty chaotic environment, with all of the media focus on the trial.
Wait, you did read my blogs, right? Marcel was never officially accused of anything, it was just theories and speculation. River was the one who was accused and acquitted of murder. xD
Maybe we could back it up? In my time line, the trial is over, its the aftermath that they're dealing with, as I said in my comments, and as says that in all of my blogs on the family. But I could make it so that the trial is starting up? Again, Marcel isn't accused, River is, but Marcel and Susanne is the one that would be meeting with Diego a lot, as River pretty much gives up during the trial and attempts suicide during it. Marcel would need almost as much support as he does, and there was speculation that he should be the one on trial, so Diego would need to navigate that too, on top of the scrutiny and media frenzy around the trial.
Well, River's already been acquitted for the murder, so Marcel would be more interested in how to handle the aftermath. Whether he can file a lawsuit against the press, or the police, or the murder victim's family, anyone who made their lives hell, really. xD Shall I write up a starter where Marcel goes to Diego's law firm? :3
Sure, Marcel works too! In fact, that'd probably be easier, as River's parents handle everything for him anyway. xD Maybe Marcel would approach Antonio to see whether he has a case, concerning his son being wrongly accused and the family being slandered by the media and others? Only, by taking on the case, Antonio has to deal with damaging his reputation as a result... but if he ends up connecting with the family - or Marcel in particular - that could motivate him to keep going with it? :o
Well, I have some characters called the Kenyon family who suit legal/crime themed roleplays. You can read about them in my blogs. The just is that the son, River Kenyon, became the subject of a highly publicised case when he was accused of murdering a police commissioner's daughter. Some of those characters might work with yours. Let me know what you think! There are others associated with the family who aren't on the blogs yet, so they might suite you more. I was thinking that their paths could cross with the family having another legal battle. :3
