¢нєяяу вℓσѕѕσмѕ

The whole mess with Ethan really added to Charlie's huge frustration, not just because of his revelations, which even made her feel betrayed in a way, but because she really wants Sao's help and she guesses he must be pisses like he'll and far from in the "helpful mood".
Nonetheless, she decides to go to meet him, just the way she planned.

She will NOT stay back until the dangerous Southern Hunters will capture her son, no way. She becomes dangerous herself and has already started a big plot to get rid of them, not just permanently, but in a totally INNOCENT way, or rather, without killing any of them.

•Her plan• :
> Take the look of the dangerous hunters and commit lesser crimes in their name, enough to send Royal Guards to investigate their homes, where they will find ALL of their 'skeletons in closets' (buried corpses -of monsters, innocent or not, in many case even of some humans possessed by ghosts that they did not save-, tons of illegal weapons and potions and elixirs, drugs and all sort of torture equipments)
> Bring Tristan to the Shire to stay with Bilbo with Sao watching over them. (As she knows that Erebor would be the most obvious place where to search for Tristan in Arda) > Have one of her brothers replacing Tristan in Nortrig, pretending to be him 100%.
> Have several of her brothers and in some cases even her father turned into her, to build strong alibis and to make sure the real her won't be taken to use her to reach Tristan.
> Stay in Erebor with some ready traps in case some Hunter will reach there.

√ Her reasons;
× The hunters will certainly earn life sentence or executions for the crimes and cruelties they committed for real. They will no longer be a problem, she will do nothing against the Gods and their Law, preserving her soul.
× Sao is a Demigod who has no direct connection with her or Tristan, nor reasons to help them. Nobody would expect him to be backing Tristan. If she asked a family member, everybody would guess it.
Plus, nobody can easily get rid of him.
× Having a fake Tristan in family acting normally will allow her to keep the truth hidden, revealing it only to Thorin, Jackil, her father, Sao and Bilbo. In her opinion, the less people who know the most secret it stays.
× If a hunter captures a 'fake Carlie' be it Jeremi or one of her brothers, they won't make any problem in killing the hunter.
× She prefers to be there to just pull the strings, everything will go smoother that way.

After meeting Ethan, she heads to meet Sao. She did not tell anything to him, her idea was to go to that place which he clearly considers the safest (Vik gave her the info that night at the Club) as a sign of respect towards him, to somewhat prove her submission, then beg him to join her and explain the situation, to ask for his help.
But the situation with Ethan changed two things: 1 Sao is still there, still dirty of blood;
2 He is in a rather bloody mood.
Thus, she does not need to call him at all, for when she teleports, the closest his anti-teleportation spells allow, Sao feels it and goes out on his own. Needless to say, not pleased at all.
She is really scared and doesn't even try to hide it, she doesn't feel safe, she knows his reputation and fears him more than almost anybody else. She thinks that he could torture her rape her, both, kill her too, she doesn't have the arrogance to think he will reserve her any sort of special treatment just because she is the wife of a Riddle. And it goes on her advantage in a way, as humbleness and respect are the top to use with him.

When Sao comes out, still dirty of dry blood and having a VERY non reassuring expression on his face, Carlie is standing under the cherry trees he himself planted, to honor the memory of his dead wife and daughter. As he comes a little closer, she bows+kneels in a very Eastern style, her hands trembling uncontrollably.

He approaches her close and stands at about a couple of steps away from her, with an angry look and crossed arms on his chest. He doesn't greet her nor bow, expecting her to speak and fast.

Carlie is even struggling not to burst in tears, she thinks it was the biggest mistake possible to come here, Sao will 100% torture her. Though, she still tries. After all, she would go through anything to protect her children, all the five of them. ~I-I beg your forgiveness for coming here, my Lord...I meant no disrespect...I dare not to...ask for a meeting, I thought that coming her would be the most respectful of me and...it would show my...submission...~

~Submission.~ He says seriously but in an interrogative way.

She nods, holding her breath. ~To accept any decision or fate you would reserve to me...m-my Lord...I do not have the arrogance to think my safety goes...above your will...~ Well, she is not sure what she is saying, her brain is more focused on picturing herself tied to a torture table right now.

~What do you want from me.~ He asks coldly, if he was in a good mood he would maybe even joke about all this, in his typical way, but his stormy mood truly makes him creepy.

She bites her lip, pondering how to say it. She knows that it is essential to express the matter in the correct way, if she wants even just a slight hope that he would consider it. ~I am aware to be nobody to ask anything from you my Lord...and I didn't come to you with claimings or arrogance, but desperation...the desperation of a mother whose son is living through a nightmare he doesn't deserve...~ He just stares at her, coldly and angrily, not asking nor saying anything, expecting her to continue.
And she does, after a little pause. ~I came to you because...I know that my son could not be in safest hands...because I need to bring him away from here, somewhere safe and if any family member suddenly disappeared, who is after my son could guess my plot and endanger him even there...~

~You. Came. To ask me to protect your son..?~ He asks in a far from reassuring tone, as if pissed off for it. He finds it almost hard to believe in fact. She is so terrified of him, how could she entrust her son to him?

There she can not help but let go some tears. For some reasons, she will not manage to consider Tristan safe with anybody else. He is highly feared all over Nortrig, she finds it impossible that the hunters would not fear him too. And even if they were that crazy, she knows they could do absolutely nothing to get rid of Sao. If there is one thing she knows for sure is that someone like Sao is someone you should want on your side more than anybody else, someone who is so cruel and who you can not defeat, really best not be your enemy.
~I of course did not intend to propose this to you to be done as an act of kindness, you owe nothing to me nor my husbands or son...I will repay you for this...~

And there, he looks even more angry. He is the one who should be sitting on the Eastern throne, the true Emperor and he would be, if he did not willingly decide to not be and leave the throne to someone he considers more fitting, Choi. He is the richest person in the whole East, part of the treasures of the Crown were donated by him to the Emperor. The mention of "repay"ing him sounded almost offending as he interpreted it as that she intends to give him money for that, as if he was some lowly mercenary or actual bodyguard of some sort.
All in all, neither money nor anything material can ever convince him, for he can afford literally everything and what he can't, he can get by himself just using his reputation and political power. But in truth, Carlie knew it and it was in no way what she meant. ~Repay me? Does it look to you that I am accepting any job? Or that I am in need of richess?~ And considering he gifted her, Jackil and Thorin a whole estate in the East as a Wedding gift, back in the time, it is quite clear he does not need money.

She starts to sob there, even more frightened. All she has left to hope is that after clarifying she did not mean money, he will be a tiny wee bit more reasonable. She takes a deep breath. ~I did not mean money...or other sort of item...I am aware of rank and nobility, my Lord...what I meant is that...I am willing to accept anything you might decide, in return...anything in the world...~

To those words, he grabs her by arm and forces her to stand up, rather roughly, pushing her towards one of the cherry trees and approaching her very close. He also grabs her chin, forcing her to look at him. ~It leaves an endless range of possibilities open.~

She sobs even more, speaking with a very frightened voice and trembling really badly. ~I know...and I am willing to accept any, you may choose...there is nothing I would not do, take or go through, for the safety of my children...~

~You don't sound so convincing.~ He says with an unpleasant tone.

~I fear, that I can not avoid nor just...hide...I am terrified...and you know it...but this does not mean I am not decided and convinced. I will accept anything for them...~ She is feeling so sick right now.

He looks in her eyes for some time. ~Hm.
What is it that you fear the most?~ That sounds just SO dreadful to her now. Thinking he will do what she will answer. But she also thinks that if she lied, it would be far worse.

~To be tortured...~ it is truly what she fears the most. She was tortured by Ezekiel and it destroyed her beyond measure. And he really didn't do much to her, it lasted less than an hour. She can not even imagine what Sao would be capable of doing, especially after seeing in which state he left Ethan.

True, it is a good idea to not lie to him. Especially in such a delicate situation as it would really take him nothing to just drag her to his dungeon and torture her, they are barely a few metres from there.
He remains silent for some time, staring in her eyes a bit longer. ~We have a deal.
This is no place for a woman.~ Said that, he grabs her by arm and teleports away with her.

It will not be said what Sao decided to be his payment for now. It will be told when Carlie will speak about it to some other character. Nothing small or light, but much less bad than she would have ever imagined, as she was over convinced he would rape her to say the least. -it can be said though, he did NOT rape NOR torture her-.

The next morning, she, Sao and Tristan meet in the place where the portal to the Shire will be made. She had already warned Bilbo about everything, including Sao's presence and how to behave towards him.
As Sao arrives, she bows low to him, not daring to look at him for a moment though.

~General Yung, this is my and Jackil Riddle's son, Tristan Morgan Benjamin Jeremi II...~ To her words, Tristan bows to him, though he almost falls down as he bends. His forces are close to 0 and his back hurts like hell.

~My apologizes, General Yung...~ He says due to having failed the bow, speaking with a very low voice. It is totally evident he can not hold himself, constantly looking as if about to faint any time. ~H-honored to meet you again.~ After the meeting at the hotel Cortez when he convinced him to go home.

After that, Carlie opens a portal to a safe spot, very close to Bag End and the three go through it, first Carlie with Tristan, as she is supporting him and keeping her arm wrapped around him all the time, then Sao. She closes the portal right after and leads them to Bilbo's home. It is late evening, it is dark already since it is almost Winter and the sky is totally covered by clouds. Bilbo is preparing dinner that very moment and as someone knocks on the door, he almost gets an heart attack, since he did not expect Carlie to come when dark but during the day. He is still paranoid, thinking it could be someone dangerous.
He approaches the door and remains behind it, with Pippin standing behind him. ~W-Who's it?~ He asks hesitantly.

~Bilbo, it is me, Carlie...~ She is not surprised by his hesitation, she knows that the times are rather dangerous and one can never be too careful, especially if as defence less as a Hobbit.
Bilbo opens the door immediately after Carlie answers, welcoming them with a warm smile. ~Hello there! Sorry for my little hesitation, but there are very creepy travelers out there nowadays...please come in, make yourselves at home! I was just preparing dinner, you came at a perfect timing!~

The three walk in and she gives Bilbo such a grateful look. ~Bilbo, this is Tristan, he grew up a lot since you last saw him...and this is General Sao Yung...~

~Good evening uncle Bilbo...~ They always called him uncle, since he is a very close friend of their father Thorin.
Bilbo smiles at him. ~You grow up so much indeed, I find it hard to recognize you!~ Then stands in front of Sao. ~Bilbo Baggins, at your service, General Yung!~ And bows. And Sao bows as well, in Eastern way but saying nothing. Can't say he is pleased by the place, especially due to the height.
~Oh and this little pepper is Peregrin, my nephew! He is entrusted to me! I am sure you and him can have some fun time together! ~ Telling it to Tristan of course.
~Please make yourselves comfortable! Sit by the table I will start to serve some food!~ And said that, Bilbo rushes to the kitchen to check the food he was cooking and also enters the pantry starting to see what to serve with it.

Carlie helps Tristan to sit by the table -which is a bit hard due to the small chairs- and kisses his head 10000000 times, telling him how she will miss him, to stay safe, to recover, to behave etc, then thanks Bilbo once more, formally bows to Sao and leaves them there.

Sao approaches the table too, but rather than sitting on those chairs, he kneels on the floor, finding it much more comfortable. He will force Bilbo to build a Japanese like table before the end.
Bilbo starts to take the food and dishes and cutlery to the table and noticing Sao, he worries immediately. ~Let me take you a pillow...I am so sorry, I never really imagined I would have tall friends to visit me some day, while building the place...but I will see to make things comfortable for both of you, I promise!~ He indeed rushes to grab all the small pillows from couch and armchairs.
And the rest goes like imagined. All pretty normal and smooth.
All this to say that right now Tristan and Sao are by Bilbo and that is where they can be found.
Also, it is insanely rainy in the Shire, pretty unnatural, as much as in Rohan. Adding to the far from reassuring signs that can be noticed all over Arda.

- Vampire strength

Background:
(For those who have time to read this, here is part of her long, drawn-out history. I’ll let everyone’s imagination fill in the rest, although I have a specific storyline for her. )

Isabel was still lying there. Her pain and injuries were so severe that it was impossible to feel any of them. Even with being through this type of torment, she still was unable to escape the pain of a subconscious mind. The same torturous memories played over and over again in her mind like an old-fashioned horror film. No matter how much she mentally screamed and pleaded, there was nothing she could do to escape. No one could hear her beg to be left alone. Her cruel soul was upsetting her with painful memories of her human past, preparing her for the hellish future she would surely have after death. She had been suffering from these images since she had become unconscious, but now they were causing her to suffer so tremendously that she had to free herself. Her claws extended, and she dug them into the mattress as deeply as she could, although even if someone took her hand, she wouldn’t know it. She longed to hear a familiar voice, but no such comfort would come to her.

The dream started nicely enough if a dream was what one could call it. The setting was a quiet, expensive eatery in seventieth-century Paris, France. It was nothing more than a simple tavern of sorts, but considering the desperation of the time, it was quite an incredible luxury even for the wealthiest of people. Her father owned this building, as well as a few others in the town. Buying land was a staple in his life as well as a way to make money for his family. Isabel’s family members were frequent guests at this place, and tonight would be no different. She sat at a table that was lit by dull candlelight. She was human and beautiful, her face lightly flushed and glowing. Her long brown hair hung down her back in ringlets, looking more shiny and vibrant than it did now in her vampire days. She sat there properly with her smooth hands folded in her lap. She wore a giant satin blue gown covered in ribbons and beads; it was one of her favorite dresses and was popular for the time. It was also the dress she occasionally wore to this day whenever her sire commanded it. It had nearly cost her a fortune to buy, but money was no concern for her family. Across her sat Natalia, one of her best companions, and an upper-class man from Russia. At her side was a charming brown-haired man with honey-colored eyes. Isabel sat there, absently playing with a giant ring on her right hand. She was only here on behalf of her father since he was too busy with other engagements.

“Stop acting so fidgety; you’re acting like a small child,” the man sitting beside her ordered. She looked over at him and smiled. They had already eaten and were waiting for the last of the courses.

“Forgive me,” she apologized quietly, grabbing her wine glass and sipping at it momentarily. She placed her warm hand over his for a moment.

The man smiled and took her hand, holding it under the table. “I do not understand; what is the matter with you? Is that wine like poison to your lips? You are not acting as yourself tonight,” he commented a little more gently.

Even back then, Natalia was not afraid to speak her mind. “And honestly, Fredric, how do you expect her to act the night before you two will be wed? Such a lucky couple,” she added as she took the hand of the man sitting next to her. “I hope you will both travel to Russia for our w….”She was suddenly cut off when a man in a slightly old-fashioned outfit appeared.

“Good evening, I am sorry to interrupt, “A man named Vonkeegan greeted them courteously. He reached for Isabel’s hand and pulled it to his lips to kiss the back of it. “I could not forgive myself if I did not congratulate the lucky bride-to-be. So radiant and beautiful like a flower, the young gentleman is truly the luckiest in all of Paris. Mademoiselle Ferris, you are blushing; young love is quite the treasure.”

Isabel bowed her head slightly. “Thank you very much. Please... I hope you will join us tomorrow at the ceremony; it would mean so much to me. You have been so kind to my family. I could never repay you,” she returned his kindness sweetly.

Vonkeegan smiled and leaned closer to her. “Oh, I think you can, my sweet,” he whispered in her ear as he put a gold necklace with a heart around her neck. “There, for good luck,” he announced to the group. “A round of red wine for all of you, the sweetest you will ever taste, I assure you,” he said as he called the waiter over. He took a glass and waited for the others to take theirs. “A toast to the beautiful couple,” he toasted them and took a sip. He set the glass on the tray and then bowed before leaving again.

Isabel felt uneasy around Vonkeegan but knew how much her father favored him. He always told her that if he stuck with Vonkeegan, the entire world would know their names. Her father was passionate about his business and even more about trying to improve society. Isabel could admire him for that if nothing else. She was deep in thought when Fredric tapped her on the shoulder again. Her hand had been placed over the necklace that rested against her chest.

“Isabel, what is it?” he finally asked.

She hardly responded and sipped her wine. He was right; this wine was like poison, the only thing she had that could put her at ease and relax her. “It is nothing, Fredric. Do not concern yourself with me,” she responded a little irritably. She tried to watch her mouth around her fiancé. She loved him, or at least that was what her father had told her. Her father had intended her to marry this man before she was old enough to walk.

The rest of the dinner went well, and Isabel was more at ease than before. The wine Vonkeegan had ordered for them was much stronger than they would have requested for themselves. They started to walk home. They had left the tavern relatively late; almost all the street lights had gone out by now. Isabel let Fredric hold on to her arm as they walked, although she didn’t look the least bit satisfied. She leaned her head against him slightly, although she looked over at Natalia and her fiancé. Those two had met hardly a year ago and were already set to be married next May. She thought that was true love, so sweet and pure. She looked up at Fredric for a minute and pulled her arm away. Once again, he asked her what was wrong. “It’s nothing….I…I am just so happy, darling,” she answered quietly as tears ran down her face.

Just then, the charm from the gold necklace fell off without breaking the chain and rolled into a side street. “Oh no, my necklace!!” she yelled as she started after it. Even then, Isabel was a bit shallow. The others followed after her. As soon as they were out of sight from the remaining streetlamps, Vonkeegan grabbed Isabel, and three others held the rest. It was too dark for Isabel to see much of anything. “Robbers ro….!!” she tried to scream as she kicked at Vonkeegan’s legs. Her voice cut off quickly when she heard a loud crack and saw her precious Fredrick lying at her feet, his neck broken completely. Her eyes widened, and she gasped in fear. She struggled against Vonkeegan as violently as she could manage. She had only then realized she was more worried about herself than anyone else.

Vonkeegan kissed her head. “My precious pet, do not scream now; you are safe,” he whispered to her quietly.

Isabel was perplexed now, sobbing hysterically. “Please….please don’t hurt me…let me go. You can have whatever you want; just let me go,” she begged through gagging sobs.

Vonkeegan pressed his hand to her face. “But my dear, you are the only thing I could possibly want in this world.” He took her farther into the alleyway and pinned her down on the cobblestone street.

“This will be the only wedding you will remember; this is love for an eternity,” he said darkly.

Eye Color: emerald

Nationality: English/Japanese

Tattoos: a bat tattoo on the small of her back and a tattoo of thorns and roses wrapped around her upper arm

Typical Clothing Style: She can mostly be seen in black gothic style clothing unless she is working.

Anderson Family:

Mother: Victoria (alive and well)
Father: Adam (alive and well)
Twin Brother: Sen (alive and well)
Younger Brother: Sahari (alive and well)

Sire: Wolfgang Vonkeegan

Current relationships: none, her last serious one ended in disaster

She travels around a lot for work but is currently staying with her parents.

Hobbies: playing guitar and singing for the band Shadow’s Nightmare, reading, beating up her brothers, and watching horror movies

Special abilities:
She has vampire strength but none of her other abilities have been discovered yet. Everything is a bit of a learning process for her right now.

Background:
(Usually I type some big long thing filled with sorrow, drama, revenge…all of that fun stuff. This time well… what’s below is all you get. The rest you will have to find out for yourself. )

Almeha was hurrying down the sidewalk of a busy city street, hardly paying any mind to the people she nearly ran over on her mission. The crisp autumn air blew her long raven hair about fiercely to create a tangled mess, but the pale slender woman hardly seemed to notice. Although she moved quickly, it would be an almost sluggish pace for most of her kind. Her one arm was wrapped securely around her stomach as she ran, the other hand pressed tightly to a cellphone covering her ear. Finally she forced herself to pause for a moment to draw in a deep painful breath. For her, the involuntary act of breathing was unnecessary for her dead lungs, but she needed to pause for a moment to shut her eyes and try to concentrate on a phone call. The sound of the people’s pounding hearts beat in her ears even louder than the drums at one of her wild concerts. Not only did the sound serve as an irritation, it also caused a wild hunger to rise up inside of her. Her throat burned and her stomach tied itself in knots. Given how obsessed she had been with vampire novels in her human life, she knew what she needed, but the friend who often helped her was not around tonight. Slowly she moved her trembling hand from her stomach to place it on the lamppost she had stopped near. She could feel her fangs elongating in her mouth so she gritted her teeth tightly to try and stop them. “Look Sen… I…do…just go on without me. Christ, you sing or something. I’m not going to make it. Something came up!” she tried to explain, although her typically confident and strong voice wavered. “Yeah it’s work so….” she continued, trying her best not to lose concentration. It was clear by the custom made band shirt she was wearing and the crisp black flame stained bondage pants that she had tried hard this time to make it to the show. She had even bothered to add jewelry as a special touch and painted her lips and eyelids with dark makeup. Apparently for tonight Shadow’s Nightmare would have to go on without her. “I need to go,” she finished quickly before closing her phone and slumping forward.

History:
A sandy beach, cool ocean waves, and the scent of the salty crisp air are starting to become fading memories of Akina’s childhood home. Akina grew up in a small seaside village of what is now Sendai Japan. She lived in a small bamboo house with her parents and pet cat Suki. They lived a very simple life, running a small pottery shop near the sea. Akina loved to spend time helping her parents tend to the store. She would enthusiastically wait on the customers and help to create a few of the art pieces to sell alongside her mother’s treasured masterpieces. It had always fascinated her to watch her father make the clay out of something as simple as mud and then to see her mother work that clay with her hands until the substance formed into eloquent plates, cups, and bowls.

On special occasions her mother would use the clay to sculpt beautiful sculptures, vases, and decretive art pieces. Akina had even received a beautiful butterfly shaped trinket box for her fifth birthday. That day had been one of the joyous occasions she could ever recall. She remembered her mother baking her all kinds of sweets and her father spending hours with her catching fireflies. Along with the trinket box, she had also received her mother’s beautiful firefly necklace, and a handmade ink and brush set. The firefly necklace had been her favorite thing of all. She could swear that since birth she had admired that little amethyst shaped firefly that hung on a simple blue string around her mother’s slender neck. How often she begged to hold it and wear it, wanting to look just like her. The whole village played music for her and there was a party so grand she felt as if she were a beautiful goddess. She fell asleep that night, wrapped up tightly in her loving mother’s arms. How safe and secure she felt with her.

After Akina’s fifth birthday her memories started to blend together, like water brushing up against sand. She still recalled times of happiness but they were few and far between. The village was struck with famine, a third of the people dying almost instantly. Akina had never seen a sickness such as this, only knowing the symptoms were a high fever and then breaking out in a terrible rash. The harvest was bad that year as well, causing people to savor the smallest offering of rice. She remembered being forced to eat one small meal a day, her tummy begging for more food by nightfall. To make matters worse, it wasn’t too long before Akina’s mother had fallen ill. By this time Akina had turned eight. She stayed at her mother’s side every day, faithfully dabbing her head with a wet cloth. She often fell asleep at her mother’s side, since she was always afraid it would be the last time she would see her alive.

By the summer of that year, there were only a few families left in the area and Akina’s father was considering abandoning his ill wife to take Akina to a safer village. On one of these hot summer nights the air was so thick and sticky that Akina could not bear to sleep. Her father took her outside and sat with her on the ground. She could see it in his eyes that he was tired and hopeless. She placed her small hand to his face to try and comfort him. She could still remember that lasting smile and the conversation they had that night. He told her that he needed to leave to find some medicine for her mother. She had told him how frightened she was of her mother dying and of being left alone in the dark. He took a small glass jar and filled it up with lightning bugs. He told her that they would act as a nightlight and would keep her safe through the night. He then placed his hand to the lightning bug charm that hung around her neck and reminded her that so long a she had it, her mother would always be right there with her. She spent the remainder of the night watching over her mother as her father left for his journey, the jar of lightning bugs emitting a soft comforting glow at her side. She fell asleep on the floor at her mother’s bed, not yet knowing her father would never come home.

Later that evening before the sun could yet rise she was awoken by a terrible crash. Her eyes snapped open and she sat up as quickly as possible. All she could do was gasp at the tall pale woman that stood before her. The woman had her mother by her shirt collar with her neck close to the woman’s face. Two gaping holes were visible on her mother’s neck with blood still dripping out of both of them. The woman had finished off Akina’s father in the woods and had followed his scent to this place. The woman’s eyes seemed hollow, shinning a dull crimson red. No expression crossed the woman’s face as she dropped her mother’s corpse unceremoniously to the ground, edging closer towards the girl. Akina was only able to utter one word “Mom!” before stumbling backwards and bursting into sobs. She looked to the jar of fireflies for comfort but the light had dimmed and the insects lay dead at the bottom of the jar.

Akina could and would never forget the words that came next from a deep hollow voice of the woman that grabbed her arm with icy fingers.

“There is no use in crying child. Your tears mean nothing to me. Your mother was suffering and now she is gone. She was dying from illness. You father was not faring well either and so; you should know …that he is gone as well. You are the only one left child and now you will come with me.”

That was the day Kalella had saved Akina’s life or possibly ended it. The rest of the long drawn out story is one that Akina does not wish to discuss.

OOC Notes:

If anyone is interested in playing Kalella, her sire, please feel free to message. ^^

History:

"History, who needs history? The past is the past and cannot be changed. It's always the same. Blah, Blah blah, people die. The only way to ease the pain is to take revenge."

The only memory that slips into her mind sometimes on a dark and lonely night:

She gasped and soon could see only a black canvas within her mind. It was then that the pictures slowly started to enter her thoughts. The canvas flashed white, and soon it was snowing. There was lots and lots of snow on the ground and freshly falling from the sky. It seemed to be an endless field of nothing but snow, sky, and thick forests of pine trees. Soon, a young boy dressed in simple, thin peasant clothing came into view. He stood with his feet mounted in the snow and a bow in his hands. He looked so tiny and lanky that it was hard to believe he could handle such a large weapon. "I have to make this perfect," he told the wind as it tossed his sandy hair in his face. His bare hands trembled as he loaded the arrow and pulled back the string. He closed one eye and steadied himself as he tried to shoot a tiny bat-sized target on a faraway tree. After he could no longer hold back the string, he released it, and the arrow flew through the air. He stumbled forward and watched it hit the tree far below the mark. "Err, not again!" he yelled, seeming frustrated. He loaded another arrow quickly and tried again, and again, and again. Each time he sent one flying, it landed just short of the mark. He grabbed another arrow and snapped it in half. "Why can't I ever get this right? Father is right… I am a disgrace! I will never be as good at this as he is……" He let the bow fall into the snow and then looked down at his blistered and bloody hands. He had been at it for quite some time now.

Soon, a little child about the age of four came running up to him. She wore a form-fitting wool coat and a pair of wool mittens. She had boots on and long black hair hung loosely from a snow hat as she skipped along the wintery path. Her eyes were bright, and she had that carefree look most children had on their faces at that age. She stopped when she saw the boy, Liam, standing there; she looked at him worriedly. "Liam…. You are still out here? Take a break! Take a break! Here, I will help you!" she told him in the same chipper tone she usually had when talking to him. She grabbed the bow from the snow as if it weighed nothing to her and loaded it with an arrow. "Like this, Liam, like this!" she told him as she sent the arrow flying, and it hit the mark. "See, just do it like that!" She tilted her head when an expression of anger was evident. She let the bow fall from her hands and moved closer to him, holding his hands tightly. She looked up at him with big, worried eyes. "Liam….do you hate me? Did I do something wrong again? I am sorry… I just wanted to help. I wanted to help you use the bow. I don't want the monsters to gobble you up. I would be sad and…. I'm sorry," she told him.

Liam looked down at the tiny figure before him and smiled sadly. Without much warning, he scooped the girl up in his arms and spun her around before setting her down and hugging her. "I could never be angry with you, little one; I love you. I am just angry with myself, Glenna, that's all. I want to be able to protect people. I don't think I can do that if I am not better. I…. I don't know, Glenna. I don't want to kill things. If it is wrong for them to kill us, then…why do we need to kill all of them? Isn't that wrong they…they look so human so…. Every time I think about it, I cannot do it. I will never be able to kill a single one," he told her as he hugged the girl tightly.

Another woman seemed to appear behind them with little warning. She looked much like Glenna did now, only with a kinder, gentler face. She was wearing a beautiful long black dress with a fur coat draped over the top of it. She was holding another small coat and a set of gloves. She smiled warmly and walked in front of Liam before placing a hand on his face. "My dear sweet boy, you are training hard, aren't you? I am proud of you, but please… make sure you are not training in vain, my dear." Her voice was soft but firm. She finally knelt before her children, looking at both of them intently.

"You both need to listen to me. Liam, I know that you don't want to kill things, but….vampires… are not humans; they are monsters. They have no heartbeat, and they have no soul. Nothing good can come of their existence. I may not always be around to protect you. You both need to learn to protect each other and yourselves. Vampires will kill you without even thinking. That is the only way they can survive, which is to kill. They will rip out your throat and drain the blood from your body. So many people die like this. If you don't kill them, they will kill you; you need to understand that. You can not hesitate. You aim, and that is it. It's alright if you are not skilled with a bow. That is your father's talent and mine as well, but Liam, I know that you have a special talent too," she said, placing a hand on her son's heart.

"Here now, put these on," she added as she handed him over the coats and gloves. "Now, I want the two of you to go into town to your cousin's shop and pick up our new supplies. It is still early in the day so that you will be back before sunset." She stood again, picked Glenna up, and held her close. "My little angel," she cooed as she kissed the girl on the head. "You take care of your brother, and then when you come back, you and I will train," she told her before setting the girl down in the snow. She let the girl hug her and then pushed her off toward Liam. "Alright, you two behave and hurry." She watched them tromp through the snow before picking up the bow. She loaded it with two arrows at once and then shot the target dead on without flinching. She sighed and shook her head before gathering the weapons and starting off again.

After that, there is little that Glenna chooses to remember. Little bits and pieces come to her, but she pushes them away all too quickly.

Christmas.

Cookies.

Blood …

"Your mother was careless! When you are a hunter, you can't take even a day off, or you become careless, and something like this happens. I didn't see you trying to stop this. Crying will never help you, Glenna! Today, you are a woman! You need to be a strong hunter and prepare yourself. This is no longer a childish game! You are a hunter! Crying over your mother will do you no good! Now, I need to go upstairs and see what has become of your father. You should already know that he is dead. Your brother may die as well. Take this as a lesson: never be careless."……

Then, waking up to start a new day…

Background: (Here is her long history for those who want to read it)

The sound of howling wind, shadows that dance in a dark corner, a sound that goes bump in the night; these are all silly little things that frighten only children, right? Most children can outgrow these fears over time, but what happens to the few selected to live with them forever?

There was a time when young Mindlyn was considered an average child. She was a happy five-year-old who loved chatting about her new baby sister. She had a loving mother who would do anything for her and a father who worked hard to provide them with a beautiful home. She spent many hours picking flowers with her father in a nearby field and trying to please her parents. Her Life was picture-perfect, almost similar to something out of a fairytale. However, like most fairytales, the obvious is not always what appears.

Shortly after her younger sister's birth, strange shadows appeared in the girl's room. These shadows would sometimes take the form of a person, while other times, they would lurk in the corners as if waiting for something or someone. The ones that took human form were basked in a bright light. They were friendly and often conversed with the young girl, protecting her from the dark shadows that frightened her. As time went on, more of these shadows started to appear. They would call out to the child in a deep, eerie voice and stir the child from her sleep. One night, when none of the white spirits were around, the others shrouded her in darkness, taking on a bolder form. She tried to hurry from her room, but these ghostly figures repeatedly held her to the wall as they chanted her name. The girl tried to fight them, begging them to leave her alone, but it wasn't until she let out a loud scream that they decided to vanish. Her parents rushed into her room, fearing for the worst. She tried her best to explain what had happened, but her parents dismissed the stories as some kind of foolish nightmare.

The following months proved to be much more challenging for the young girl. The previous story played out again and again each night. Mindlyn sought guidance and protection from the white shadows, often talking to them quietly in her room. She could not understand why her parents didn't see the figures that frequently visited her, as the white ones appeared to be solid humans. Once she began speaking with these spirits more openly, her parents became even more concerned for her wellbeing. Her parents tried to tolerate her bizarre behavior until, one day, it could no longer be ignored. People in the community started noticing the child babbling to herself about strange nonsense that no one seemed to understand. Her father's reputation at his job started to slip, and he soon became known as the man with the ill-minded daughter. Many began questioning his credibility as an intelligent businessman, and he became exceedingly frustrated.

One early morning, her father found the girl talking to herself again, and he completely lost it. He grabbed the girl by her shirt and dragged her out of the house. They traveled for hours until they reached an isolated asylum. It was there that he left her to rot in a filthy, rat-infested cell for two months. It took forever for her mother to find her, but when she did, Min was rescued. The girl was half-starved and even more withdrawn than she had been in the past. When the two returned home, they learned they no longer had a place to live. Min's father took his youngest daughter and left his wife and other daughter to fend for themselves. It was hard to imagine that anything could be normal for them again.

For the years that followed, Min lived quietly with her mother. Her mother was able to find odd jobs to pay for food and rent for a small room. Min helped her mother with work when she could, and as she vowed, she never spoke another word. Life returned to being relatively normal, although the young girl was careful to keep herself isolated. When her mother sent her out to buy groceries, she ignored the other children as they teased and taunted her. Life was bland and had little meaning for her, but she was content as long as she did not hurt her mother further. The shadows still plagued her occasionally, but she had found ways to avoid them. She hid any other strange discoveries about herself away from her mother and tried her best to handle them independently.

Before the girl's 10th birthday, another tragedy took place. It was late at night, and she was walking home with her mother after a long, hard day's work. The two of them had their arms full of bundles of laundry as they turned into a dark alleyway. Before either of them could hardly blink, a dark silhouette appeared, which was much different than those Min had seen in her room. This one was solid and cloaked in black, red eyes gleaming from beneath the turned-up hood. What happened next was utterly a blur. A slender hand lashed out, long claws extending from the fingertips that trashed forward to dig into the woman's throat. The child let out a voiceless scream, dumped the laundry into the street, and ran for her Life. She hid in a large crate left outside around the corner and stayed there until morning. By the time she reached the alley, things were not as they once were. Her mother's pale and lifeless body still rested in the alley, her murder long gone. Mindlyn sat on the ground with her mother, begging her to return to Life. After about an hour, she realized all hope was lost, and she forced herself to leave her mother's side forever.

Least favorite food: meat and cheese

Abilities: She can act as an occasional medium, has the ability to use pyrokinesis, and is telekinetic. (She cannot control any of these abilities well, and often, they happen randomly and without warning.)

History:

Malinda grew up on a little dairy farm in a rural area of Pennsylvania. Her family worked hard and made a living by selling milk produced by the dairy cows and the crops they grew. Helping out on the farm was one of Malinda's favorite hobbies, and she dreamed of becoming a remarkable veterinarian one day. Stray animals such as cats, dogs, turtles, birds, and foxes always seemed to find their way into the girl's home and heart as she nursed them carefully back to health. Along with taking care of animals, she also enjoyed spending time with her parents. Her mother would take her to ballet, swim with her in the lake, and buy her every book and toy they could afford. Her father showed her how to work on the farm, took her fishing, and went out to eat at the restaurants in the city.

When Malinda does look back on her childhood, it seems like any girl's fantasy, at least until she reaches the memories of a month before her tenth birthday. At this time, she began to see and hear strange voices, things that she knew no one else noticed around her. People who had long since died started to appear before her. They would talk to her, call her, and sometimes even torment her until she provided an adequate response.

That was not the only strange occurrence that started to take place. In school or other crowded situations, the girl could hear more than the words spoken by those around her. The thoughts of those close to her and strangers soon echoed through her head like a swarm of angry bees. She could do nothing to drown out the constant buzzing, and learning information that was supposed to be kept silent could not be helped. Malinda suffered in silence for as long as she could stand, but when she chose to confide in a small group of classmates, she only succeeded in destroying the remainder of her childhood. The girl was taunted and teased until she avoided leaving the solitude of her room altogether. The books in her home's small library became her comfort and her best friend.

After a few weeks, she noticed other abilities developing as well. When she became overly angry or depressed, objects would mysteriously fall from a shelf, or the lights in the house would flash violently. Physically, she became sick and weak, making it hard for her to eat solid food or move at a quick pace. She knew it wouldn't be long before she would have to bring these issues to her parents' attention. Unfortunately, the school contacted her parents before she had the chance. They stormed up to her room and demanded why she acted so foolish. They told her she was no longer a child and needed to stop playing silly games. She couldn't stop playing the 'games' as her parents called them, and soon, she became increasingly dangerous.

On her birthday, she spent the night alone in the living room as her parents discussed possibly placing her in an institution to receive help. The sorrowful and bitter emotions consumed her, forcing her to rest. As she slept, the energy inside her continued to build until it was unconsciously released. The energy stole the fire from the hearth and scattered it around the room. In seconds, the entire wooden framed house was engulfed in flames. Malinda remained unconscious the whole time, and when she awoke, she was lying in a hospital bed. She was covered in severe burns, and yet, she should not have been able to survive the event at all. Her parents were unable to escape the smoke inhalation and died at the scene. How Malinda was rescued or survived remains a mystery even today.

She remained at the hospital for almost half a year. For most of that time, it was difficult for her to speak. Her aunt, who happened to be a doctor at the hospital, worked with the girl every day until her condition improved. Eventually, her aunt took the girl to stay with her in her large seaside home. The woman helped the girl catch up on her schoolwork. She lived normally for a few months before her strange abilities returned. This time, she hid them from everyone and tried her best to control them. She distracted herself with school, then medical school, and now her job to keep from dwelling on her abilities. So far, she has been able to control herself, but how and why she has such abilities still frightens her.

The Town of Birchwillow:
Below a high border of snow-crested mountains rests the quaint town of Birchwillow. This town would appear to be nothing out of the ordinary to the everyday passerby. The mountains slope down, turning into dense, lush forests filled with various plants and creatures. Also, in the woods flows a clear freshwater stream that empties into the mouth of a crystal blue lake. Inward from the tree line rests small cottages made from straw where many of the town's peasants resided. A short distance from the tiny straw buildings, the tall thickets of grass turn into cobblestone streets. The roads form a large circle, encompassing the town's businesses, church, and well-constructed homes. Most of the wooden structured buildings mimic an English tutor design, made from the finest lumber the town could afford. Gas lanterns line the streets to guide the weary night traveler's way to the nearest inn.

In the morning, the town hall is crowded with local farmers and vendors competing to sell their products with the ten local shops set up in the area. Although most of the town's residents travel on foot, the hooves of a few horses trudge through the town, pulling the carriages of their wealthy owners to various destinations. The area experiences all four seasons: winter, summer, spring, and fall. Summer is the most intense season, the severe heat of the sun baking the crops. The only way in or out of Birchwillow is through a rugged and dangerous path through the mountain range. The kingdom that rules the town is far beyond the mountains, making it rare for royalty to visit them. Some even say the outside world has forgotten the town, but the community tries its best to govern itself. The crimes of the locals are dealt with fairly, while the crimes of outsiders often lead to the penalty of death. Magic and other supernatural practices are not tolerated well in the area, mainly if these abilities are used for evil. Most locals have fair skin and blonde, almost white hair, so they are often suspicious of those with dark brown or raven-colored hair. Travelers beware!

Here is a very long character backstory for those who want to read it:
A hot, toasty fire, the smell of freshly baked bread, and the feeling of white, powdery flour are sensations that Sage has commonly experienced ever since she was a tiny tot. From as far back as she can recall, she had resided on the upper floor of the Honeybee Bakery, performing daily chores to earn her keep. She knew nothing of her parents, only of Mister and Misses Portsman, who had decided to care for her until she could work in their bakery. She was aware that she looked different than them, other than the whole town, but it rarely bothered her as a child. She spent most of her time helping in the bakery and running and playing alone along the stream. Most of the children stayed away from her, mainly at the request of their parents. She had tried to interact with her peers on a few occasions, but after it ended in pain and tears, she was reluctant to approach people when she was alone. Often, she found herself dangling her feet in the lake's calm waters and gazing up at the tall mountains. She could not help but wonder what life would be like beyond the elevated structure that trapped her in such a dull, monotonous place. As much as she loved working at the bakery and felt fortunate not to live on the streets, she still wanted more than this town had to offer her. There had to be more to life than baking bread, cakes, and sweet rolls.

Once Sage reached her adolescence, her personality became more vibrant and curious about the world around her. She wanted to learn and know everything she could about the thick forest and mountains surrounding this place. She frequently conversed with the few elders willing to talk with her. She spoke to the local town healer about various herbs and remedies for curing ailments and about his travels away from Birchwillow. The healer was an elderly man, wise even beyond his age. He, too, once had chocolate brown hair like hers and was considered an outsider. The town used him for his medical knowledge but rarely interacted with him. The man was gentle and kind, forgiving the people for their cruelness. Sage felt as if she was learning a lot from the man. In secrecy, Sage started to practice mixing medicines herself in her small upstairs room of the bakery.
Along with the man teaching her the ways of medicine, he also taught the girl how to read. It was a rare accomplishment for someone in the town to learn the complicated methods of the alphabet. The old man and Sage were astounded by how fast the girl had learned to read the thick, leather-bound parchment paper the man had collected from abroad.

By the year of her fourteenth birthday, Sage was spending all of her free time gathering plants in the forest and reading by the freshwater pond. She often stayed there far into the evening hours against her foster family's requests. She found working even her short, five-hour shift in the bakery was increasingly difficult. She would often burn bread or spill ingredients over the counters and floor. She would misplace orders and forget to wash the dishes before closing time. She had started to sleep in on Sundays and Thursdays, arriving late to church service or not attending at all. Mr. Portsman had tried scolding her, punishing her, and had even gone as far as slapping her across the face to try and knock some sense into the girl. The two bakery owners could not understand why there had been such a drastic change in their precious adopted child.

One night, a heavy storm started to brew outside, and again, Sage had left the dishes soaking in the bakery sink. The old man had given her a new remedy to try and create, so she had been eager to attempt to duplicate his instructions. She was in the middle of mixing bits of herbs and rose water when Mr. Portsman burst through the door. His face was flushed with anger as he yelled at her for the dishes and even more so for creating what he called "the work of a witch." He toppled the bowl to the ground and grabbed the young girl up by her cloak. She tried to plead with him as tears dripped down her face. In defeat, she pulled her slender body away from him, dashed down the steps and out the bakery door. She did not stop running till she reached her favorite thicket on the edge of town. She huddled below a tree and cried herself to sleep.

She awoke the following day, the sun hitting her face. Before she could stand, she realized something was dangling around her neck on a thick, black cord. It was a quarter-sized, diamond-shaped prism that glistened in the sun. The girl had never seen such a necklace in her life, but she already knew it had to be hidden. She tucked it in her dress and ran back to find the one person she could trust, the old medicine man. However, she was delivered some horrific news once she reached the small cottage. The man had fallen into a coma-like state, and no one could seem to wake him. The villagers did not seem too concerned with the man's condition, assuming he would die soon. Sage spent the rest of the day weeping by the man's bedside and pleading for him to awaken from his deep, unnatural slumber.

A few weeks after the strange occurrence, Sage returned to working in the bakery and completing her everyday chores. The medicine man had awoken, although he seemed to have no recollection of himself or his previous medical experience. Sage continues to practice medicine on her own in secrecy, visiting her old friend every day to try and help him remember something. She did not bother to show him the crystal, although the strangeness of the item worries the young girl more and more each day. She is starting to feel like even more of an outcast in the town and is debating on journeying to a town beyond the mountains to find the group of people her old friend had told her about through his stories.

Crystal Information:

Although Sage is unsure of the crystal's specific properties, she has noted that the prism changes colors about her mood. Thus far, she has indicated it is changing to yellow, purple, red, blue, and black. When the crystal is black, she tends to feel lightheaded and ill.

Rufus.

Recent happenings keep sriking Tristan pretty heavily even though he is great at hiding his feelings.
He is not happy, he is very fragile and broken, but the only person that seems to have always felt it, seems to be Frerin. In truth, Frerin has always noticed the unfairness towards Tristan, and lately it has started to bother him big time. But of Frerin will be told on another tale.

The day when Absynthia had to return to Malicedom, was one pretty horrible day for Tristan. First because it will be a month before he will see her again and also for the unexpected visits he receive. ((In that day, Jackil and Carlie were away to spend some relaxed time alone, in their house in the East, gifted to them by Sao as a wedding gift.))
As a matter of fact, that morning, Benjamin decided to visit him to have a serious discussion. ((Tristan has always been extremely tied to his grandfather, in a way he even idolized him, dressing in a way very similar to his style and sometimes even acting like him. Plus, his passion for minerals made them even closer, the days when he had to go hunt minerals with him while be gathered ingredients for his potions were his favorite moments))
After the whole "Shadow criminal" thing, when Benjamin and Francis told Jackil the truth and all that mess followed, Tristan really took a huge distance from the grandfather. Benjamin thinks it is because he is angry at him and pouting for it, but in fact the reason is a little more complicated, as always when it comes of Tristan's point of view. To him, it was a clear proof that Benjamin did not care for real about him, he does not care who he is, only what he does. Like everyone else. He is disappointed, but mainly hurt as he thought he could trust Benjamin.
Anyhow, that morning, as soon as Benjamin approached their mansion, Tristan could feel him so he rushed to the bathroom and locked himself in, much before he even reached the door and knocked.
It was Frerin to open and to welcome Benjamin in, even before their butler could.
They had a little talk, then Benjamin asked him about Tristan and Frerin went to call him, finding out he was "taking a bath" he said and reporting to the grandfather he will come soon. After a long while of wait, though, Frerin had to go check again, knocking hard and shouting, though he heard something that left him almost shocked: Tristan was crying inside. He was too discouraged to go out and face whatever discussion Benjamin would want to bring up. So Frerin spoke in his mind to try to find out what was wrong and reassure him a little, but it was of no use. Benjamin would not leave until he spoke with him, so it was pointless to delay even more or try to get away. After some m ore minutes, Tristan finally went out -he even took a long bath for real, full of super perfumed oils so now he is all smelling like a pine- and headed downstairs with bowed head and little to no will.
Though, right then, someone else knocked on the door and the pine scent covered any other smell for Tristan to notice it before, Butler opened and it was...Edward. Typical scene when the Butler is asked about Tristan, he turns around and the boy is right on the stairs in front of the door.
As normal for Edward he simply grabbed Tristan by arm and headed out without a word about why or where he would be taking him.
Benjamin, noticing that rushed after them, but Edward teleported away with Tristan. Needless to say, Benjamin did not give up and started to look for them, and in fact, joined them right in front of the EG's headquarter. He tried to get information from Edward, with no result and all he was given was a "You will take him away when done, wait in my office."
Needless to say, Tristan was so terrified he could barely breath, almost having a true panic crisis, as he thought the uncle found out about the man he murdered by accident and now he is getting his punishment for that. He expected to be tortured no doubt and...it was not quite so, even though quite painful.

**In Nortrig, tattoos and piercings are not like on Earth, just "body decorations". Every single tattoo or piercing has a very deep reason and a function. (Even though it also happens that some get tattoos just for decoration, but that is very rare)
Doctors, mages, alchemists, potionists etc use to have the highest number of tattoos and piercings on their body as said things are not just proof of an important goal they achieved in their profession, but also an improvement to that. Something that will open an even greater power or knowledge or understanding in what they achieved. Tattoos are Arcane, Divine and Mystical Symbols while piercings are just like any empowering ring, amulet of token.
Also, since each tattoo and piercing have a meaning and the achievement that earned them is not the end of the story but the beginning, they also must be applied in specific areas. (Notnin every case though)
I.E. When a young mage manages to pass then exams to join the Academy of Dark Arts or Curses, they are marked with a tattoo that proves they have mastered basic magic they need to learn advanced one. The tattoo is an Arcane Symbol that MUST be applied at the back of the neck.
Or, when an Alchemist manages to create a Bloodstone, he receives a tattoo that is a Mystical Symbol that proves it and improves his skill in Blood processes, and that can be applied anywhere on their body.**

Edward took him straight to the dungeons and forced him to sit on a FAR from reassuring table. There, he stared at the boy creepily for some time and...started to work his own way to actually Pierce Tristan's skin for as long as he needed to do his job. Now, it was still unknown what material Z'Ks are vulnerable to -it will be told by Xilon at the right time- which makes it close to impossible for anybody that is not the Alpha (Jackil) or a Zimox to cause a wound on him. Their body regenerates so fast it is instant, especially if the wound needed is very tiny as that for a piercing.
Only Edward knows how and only Tristan knows how much it could possibly hurt, but he managed to make it. Tristan passed a test at the Academy of Doctors (Due to the emergency situation caused by the huge lack of doctors, the students destined or forced to become doctors are also forced to attend some extra special classes at the Academy in order to prepare them and make their success more sure for when they will finish high school and thus start the Academy as proper students) something rather unique for any doctor: perfect endocrinologic deductions through smell and taste of blood. And considering he will specialize in endocrinology when he will be at the Academy, it is an even more important achievement which indeed earned him a piercing. A black, circle piercing at the left side of his lower lip, made out of obsidian (he really best never kiss a Skinwalker :v). Tristan could not know whether the piercing had to be there or if Edward simply chose it himself, it is the first option though.

Anyhow, what Edward had to do to make it was truly unbearable to Tristan, it may seem absurd that such a little thing could hurt so much, but it did. And it left him just SO upset and messed. (And since he seemed suspicious to him, Edward also read his mind afterwards, finding out of the murdering but having his hands tied there, had to just leave him alone, as it was self-defense and an accident)
When Edward head to Benjamin with Tristan, the boy was still crying so hard that it seemed pointless to even speak to him in that moment. So, Benjamin organized a meeting for the next morning. Let Tristan choose the place, that since he wanted to be just them two, ended up being the Club, and just accompanied him home without saying anything nor adding to his stress.

Once home, Tristan did not even celebrate the thing , even though it would be a big reason to, he did not say anything to anybody and just went to lie down, falling asleep without even having dinner. ((When Frerin got his piercing -he chose to be across the end of his eyebrow, to show off- for his achievement in Battlefield, not just he told it to every living being, he made a whole huge party and received tons of gifts to celebrate it. Earning a tattoo or a piercing is basically like earning a super great trophy a huge victory. Which is also why Frerin tried to use his piercing to impress Mireya))

When Carlie and Jackil return home, they ask the Butler to update them with everything that happened that day, especially what their sons did and the loyal Butler told everything to them. At the very mention of Edward who brought Tristan somewhere, Jackil literally panicked and without even waiting for the Butler to finish, he rushed upstairs to check with him, thinking Edward did something horrible to him.
He finds the boy asleep, rather peacefully -with the piercing covered as he had that part of his face on the pillow, as it slightly soothed the pain- . Jackil didn't feel like to disturb him, so he just pulled the blankets to cover him better, placed his hand on his head, softly, for some moments, checked the window and left the room, closing the door. Then, he went also to Frerin's and Sigurd's room, checking their windows and pulling the blankets on both. He checks the three of them every night when he comes back from his EGs or doctors shifts, he can't go bed if he does not check they are fine and safe.

The next morning, Jackil has to go work very early due to an emergency requiring an urgent surgery and Carlie goes out at the market, it is the morning she meets Cesar, Mireya and Althus there.
Tristan wakes up and prepares to go to meet with Benjamin in Thylum, he did not have the chance to warn his parents since they went out before he woke up.
Since he knows they do not allow him to go on his own, he asks their uncle Bartemius to accompany him to the Club.
When he is about to go out, Frerin asks him many questions and seems strangely rather worried. Like he doesn't want Tristan to go out, but he has no choice.
When Bartemius comes Trist leaves with him and is left right on the door of the Club. Bartemius certainly doesn't think he should stay till Benjamin arrives, thinking it is totally safe.
Tristan enters the Club immediately, even though he is over 15 minutes in advance from the time they established. He sits by a table near the window and orders one of his favorite multicolor and glitter fruit juices. Then just waits.

Some minutes after , a very strange man comes inside the Club. Looks like some countryside Northern Auriold also for the way he is dressed, that is totally unlike the style of the people of Thylum. Tristan notices that the man gives him a long stare as he comes in, too long for his tastes. Then goes to sit by a table behind his, but at some distance. He can somewhat feel he is staring at him and if that was not enough, as soon as that man arrived, he started to smell an horrific stench, deep and nauseating ,but that seems to disturb him only. It is Rhomium, to which Z'Ks are sensitive and vulnerable more than any other race. While for non- monsters it has no smell nor taste nor effect, to him it is dreadful, the stench makes him sick and close to vomit.
After a couple of minutes, he simply can't stand it anymore, so, leaving everything there, his shoulder bag included, he goes outside, trying to look as normal as he can. There, he vomits and pants, breathing deeply for a while in order to recover from the stench. And while standing by the window, he spots something that makes his blood freeze, literally: that strange man who stared at him, approached his table and clearly poured something from a vial inside his juice.
It scares him beyond measure and thinking it is unsafe in there with that man, he decides to get some help.
Mortimer's new home is very close to there, so he starts to walk towards it, feeling much safer to wait for Benjamin there with his uncle than alone at the Club.
Worst idea ever. Because the hunter into the Club did not go alone. Rufus (the one Carlie will set up in the RP that happened with Otto) the worst -in methods and cruelty- of the Southern hunters is together with that one and is outside, ready to follow his target. And his skill is nothing to underestimate. He is crazy, sadistic and cruel, but incredibly good at his job.
Tristan walks fast towards Mort's house, not thinking that he must be in Malicedom right now for work. As a matter of fact, when he reaches it and knocks on the door, nobody comes to open. And there is nobody around, it is too cold for people to wander outside. Just as he turns around to leave, though, a dart flies right past his head, ending up stuck on the door. And it has the same foul stench he smelt in the Club. It makes it clear to him that someone is after him but he can not sense his smell due to the Rhomium, literally making any other scent impossible to sense for him.
Instinctively, he starts to run towards the Royal Palace, thinking it is his best card at the moment due to where he is. -One can not teleport inside cities, they are protected by spells-
He runs in an irregular and zig zag way, seeing the darts that keep being fired at him, but eventually, gets struck a first time. He can't describe the horror he feels as the Rhomium touches and enters his body through the dart. He feels like to faint instantly, the thing that literally saves his life is adrenaline. He is so scared and messed now that his adrenaline reaches super high levels and allows him to keep pushing. He also literally screams for help in Jackil's mind, but not managing to give his father any useful details other than "SOMEONE IS TRYING TO KILL ME!" and that is more than enough to leave his father petrified. He immediately calls for Doctor Strange to replace him for the surgery and rushes off to find Tristan and save him.
While Tristan runs, he gets struck two more times before falling on the ground, unable to stand up.  He tries to crawl desperately while his strength totally abandons him. He is still too far and has seconds left before he will faint. He thinks fast and tries one last, desperate attempt to catch the attention of the King's Guards.
So, he does the MOST illegal and risky thing a person could ever do in Thylum: attack the Royal Palace. He takes his wand and with trembling hand, he casts a strong and fast spell towards the outer walls of the Royal Palace. The spell is immediately blocked by the protective spells and curses all over the place, but it sure is noticed by the Guards of the King, who are not the types who take jokes.
Tristan passes out immediately after, the wand falling off his hand, but just as Rufus started to approach him to take him away, the King's Guards were on him, studying the situation. It does not take Sherlock Holmes to guess what happened.
There is a passed out boy on the ground with some darts all over his back (5 in total as Rufus shot some more to keep him quiet), the wand dropped near him and a totally meaningless spell cast against the palace. Clearly, the boy was in need of help and tried to be noticed by them, successfully.
They take Tristan to the Royal Palace, warning the King and telling him the details. Unfortunately, none of them can provide a description of Rufus.
Anthony summons Christoph immediately to take care of the boy, as the Master of Doctors is also the private doctor of the King by rule. And he also sends two of his personal guards to find Carlie and Jackil and lead them there. Which is what was happening in that RP when the guard came to take Carlie with her.

After a quick word with Frerin who told him where Tristan was heading to, Jackil rushes to the Club to investigate. There, he finds not just Tristan's bag, but also Benjamin who arrived and was totally confused to find Tristan's things but not the boy.
Jackil is too worried to the point he even shouts at the barman to gather some useless information. That is where some old human man, rather poor and drunk, approaches them and tell them what he saw: a man pouring something in the glass of the boy as soon as he went out.
To that, Benjamin takes the glass with the juice and starts to analize it. Being a potionist, he has the knowledge and tools to find out.
He smells the juice, moves it, pours some...but nothing. So he takes out from his pendant -the Fabian one- some particular stripes, looking like made out of paper but with something transparent on top. He places the stripe in the glass and waits. The transparent part turns pink. "Artificial enzyme, transparent, with no smell nor taste, not too consistent" takes him no time to guess what is it. Which makes the situation even more worrying as some hunter is definitely intentioned to kidnap Tristan. The two start to search outside, noticing the dart on Mort's door and starting to put the pieces together. That is when a King's Guard reaches them and tells them about Tristan.
Needless to say, the two rush to the palace like there is no tomorrow. Since Christoph is into the room, dealing with the wounds, only Jackil joins him inside. Benjamin instead goes to speak with Anthony. (Benjamin took Tristan's bag from the Club)

Rhomium truly has a dreadful effect on the Knights of Zivhur, much worse than it does to Werewolves and KoZ. And the fact it was him to create it, makes Christoph feel so horrible right now. The wounds are small, but infected in a unique way he never saw before. Black pus in them but already cicatrized. and Christoph has no way to open them on his own. Which is why he really needs Jackil. Until they will find a material that does to Z'K what silver does to Werewolves, it will be impossible for any other than Jackil to cause Tristan to bleed.
And those wounds need to be opened to clean them from that black infection that seems to be spreading.
Luckily Tristan is passed out, in fact, Christoph induced a coma to him with medicines, but he can't foretell how long it will last, due to Z'K unique immunitary system. He had to do so, as when he awoken Tristan, he started to scream in an insane pain due to the Rhomium and the wounds.
The process Jackil has to do to clean his wounds would be insanely painful if he was awake, especially considering how Rhomium seems to have activated all of his nerves, making them oversensitive.
Of course, the two doctors manage to clean the wounds bringing them back to normal, but they have no way to remove the Rhomium that ended in his body. All they can do for that is to speed up the body with some medicines and the appropriate diet so that it expels the Rhomium on its own.

When Carlie finds out what happened, she goes crazy for some moments. That is when she decides she must do something for the safety of her sons. She must get rid of the dangerous hunters, but without killing them. This she will set them all up to receive a life-sentence and spend the rest of their lives in prison.
Also, she will take Tristan to a safe place and have him replaced by a shifter.

Crimson Ruby - Remastered Version

Name: Crimson Ruby
Original Gem(s): Crimson & Ruby
Gem Type: Fusion
Height: 5’10”
Weight Class: Lean, 824 lbs.
Previous Occupation: Ship Builder Gem
Current Occupation: Crystal Gem Soldier
Home Planet: Homeworld
---------------------------------------------------------------
Appearance:
-Skin
~Like most gems, his skin tone portrays to the color of the gemstone he possesses. Because of Crimson color being a darker red mixed with a Ruby, Crimson Ruby has a middle shade of red in between the two, almost like a maroon or blood red.
-Hair
~Waved and mainly combed to one side. A part under the ear and around it is shaven but still has a lot of hair. It’s colored Ruby.
-Clothing
~His attire in both Crimson and Crimson Ruby is very similar to that of which a steampunk would wear. He has an overcoat that is “covered in dust” that’s a Crimson color with a yellow strap going from the edge of the turtle neck to the midway point of the jacket. He also wears leggings, which are torn in certain places, however one leg is Ruby and the other is Crimson.
-Accessories
~Along with his steampunk-like attire, he also wears goggles on his head or neck, using them like a builders. Their design is very similar to the of a steampunk’s, however they function like regular goggles. These goggles are brown and goldish yellow in color with a black strap for the head.
-Gemstone
~Crimson Ruby’s gem is placed exactly on the back of his right hand. Alone, Crimson’s gem was shaped to be the outer layer of a gear. When finding Ruby, who’s gem was also on the right hand, they fused and made a full gear shaped gem. When summoning his weapon, the outer layer of the gear, Crimson’s, will spin clockwise, while Ruby’s, the middle, spins counter-clockwise.
-Weapon:
~Two-Handed Scythe. The blade is long and slightly curved, made out of Crimson whilst the handle has a spiral from the bottom to the middle of the weapon, made out of Ruby.
-Special Abilities:
~Being as Crimson was made to be a ship builder gem, Crimson Ruby (and Crimson alone) is able to build any type of ship with fast capabilities. This goes as far as to build even a medium sized cruise-ship in only 3 days, while it takes him 1 week to build a cargo ship. He also can make limb ships, however he needs the right materials in order to do so, some of which aren’t available on Earth.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Likes: Physical and Mental health, Training often, being around other groups of people or gems
Dislikes: Being separated from Ruby for too long, hurting his friends emotionally, living under a “rule-book.”
Romantic Interest: Lapis Lazuli
Team: The Crystal Gems
Allied Teams: Lars and his Space Pirate Crew
Enemies: The Diamonds (Specifically Yellow Diamond)
Personality: Crimson Ruby’s personality is based off the gems that make him up, meaning he can switch from two different moods or to both at once.
-Crimson
~He is more courageous and proud, going out of his way to make people laugh in serious situations to lighten the mood. This would ultimately lead to him being friends with Lapis Lazuli.
-Ruby
~This Ruby is similar to others than most, however his fighting spirit remains the same. He won’t hesitate to run into a fight or stay back to protect the people he cares for. However, alone he is more shy and timid, so he usually let’s Crimson do most of the personality work.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Bio: As it stood, the Diamond Empire was growing to a massive extent. Back on Homeworld, Yellow Diamond was having trouble finding ways to get her more ships after hers were getting destroyed by rebels. In response to this, she began production of a new group of gems, Crimson. These gems were designed only to build ships and talk. They were a perfect gem that had no flaws, until one day one was created,
One Crimson stood out from the rest of the race. He was very boisterous, often stopping his work to make a stupid speech or to tell everyone of his new ship. His ships looked much different than Homeworld’s, causing him to gain multiple warnings. One day, Lapis Lazuli was being dragged around by the arm by Jasper, who let go of her to change. Lapis saw the large, unrecognized ship that was made, calling down to the builder. Crimson and Lapis talked for minutes, forming a great bond with each other, Crimson even growing feelings for the hydrokinetic gem. However, after another instance of his outbursts, Crimson was arrested for his crimes, and was sent to a special gem prison that had Ruby guards, the toughest of the tough.
For days, Crimson remained locked up in the cell, but one Ruby changed his life for the better. Seeing his frustration, the Ruby offered to help the gemstone, talking on about how he wished he could join the Crystal Gems. When the two finally shook hands, they fused to form Crimson Ruby, who was now outside of the prison. What Crimson didn’t know, was that every other Crimson was beginning to adopt his way of building. Soon the entire rest of the race was following his footsteps. In retaliation, Yellow Diamond set out a legion of her own to poof and destroy every single Crimson known. Running out of the prison, Crimson Ruby arrived only to see the Crimson’s start getting shattered. Suddenly, there was a large explosion that launched Crimson Ruby into the atmosphere in a blinding light, and after almost a concussion. When he blinked awake, Crimson was floating in the depths of space outside Homeworld’s atmosphere surrounded by shards of broken Crimsons. He was now the last one alive, and it was thanks to his fused form. Finding a couple pods in the midst of space, Crimson found a way to get in one and accidentally started a course for Earth.
After a week, since the pods thrusters were powerful and quick, Crimson was launched from the pod after Earth’s atmosphere broke a core engine. His body was sent hurtling down towards the Earth until he crash landed deep in the sandy beach of Beach City. When he awoke, he walked up from the hole he created, only to be face to face with Steven himself. This started off his journey with them for a lifetime.
