Good Neighbors Don't Put Up Fences | Modern Neighb

Notes: This could be changed to fit into a medieval setting as well. Be advised that I expect this plot to be more of a fluffy and lighthearted, sweet romance once.

Character A and B have been neighbors pretty much all of their lives. Both have lived in the family homestead forever, a house that was passed through the generations many many years. Around similar ages, the two used to play together as their families were well known to be friendly to one another. They used to day dream about how they were going to get away from this small town and make something with themselves, but neither one of them ever did such a thing.

As they got older, though they would still be friendly to one another the connection the two used to share slowly grew more distant. Life tends to get in the way and relationships change over time. Character A got married and Character B got busy himself tending to the farm that was left to him by his family.

Out of seemingly nowhere, Character A’s husband up and leaves her, abandoning her in the house by herself. In a small town things like this become hot gossip and it seems everywhere she goes, Character A is whispered and speculated about. The only person who treats her with warmth and kindness (and not pity) is Character B who makes it his mission to ensure that she is getting along okay and constantly stops by to try and help out around the property.
