I've Put A Spell On You | Modern Fantasy Reverse H
Notes: This could be changed to work for a medieval setting as well. Be advised that this involves themes of polyamory and having multiple partners.
Witches have a very unique place in the world of supernatural creatures. Powerful creatures that have the ability to tap into the natural elements of the world and bend them to their will. Not only that, but creating a bond with a witch would allow that witch to lend their strength to a supernatural creature that could make them more powerful than they were before. This made them heavily sought after in the supernatural world. Due to this, witches had to develop a natural defense. That defense would be that their powers would be dormant within their bodies until they were twenty four, giving them plenty of time to grow into who they wanted to be.
Character A comes from a long line of witches. Maybe if she would have grown up with any of them they could have taught her about what was going to happen when she turned twenty four. Unfortunately for her, she was orphaned at the ripe age of seven and literally can’t remember anything except some blurry faces from her family. Despite having lost her actual parents, Character A never had a horrible childhood. She was adopted by a wonderful couple who loved her and raised her with the utmost care. She had a great life that was rather normal and being an adult she now lives on her own and works as a part time waitress at a local bar while going to school to be a teacher. That is until she turns twenty four.
Her powers explode within her body while she is on break at the bar, having to work on her birthday. She doesn’t even realize that the awakening of her power would send out shockwaves through the world alerting any and every supernatural within a 200 ft radius.
The first supernatural to make an appearance in her life, alerted to her presence would be her boss at the bar. A closet supernatural she had no idea about (granted she had no idea about any of this literally an hour ago), Character B begins attempting to court her, only to be joined later by a great many different supernaturals that will all be vying in their own ways for her love and affection in an attempt to win the bond from her.
