For Me | Fantasy Vampire Plot

Notes: This could be set in either a modern or medieval time period. Be advised that this plot involves themes of abuse, corruption, and death for starters.

Character A has never had a great life. The product of an affair between her father and a whore (her mother), her step mother absolutely hated looking at her face. She was neglected and often times abandoned when she wasn’t doing all of the chores and housework. She got to watch from the sidelines as her step siblings were lavished with love that she would never receive. Her father wasn’t any better, always saying the default parent was her step mother and there was nothing else he could do. She had always been desperate for love and affection, and would jump at and latch onto the most minuscule display, even if it came with abuse.

The town of Voultain had a bit of a problem. A vampire problem. It was common knowledge and well known. Vampires held all the positions of power and would prey on the lower stretches of the town without any care. It was practice that no mortal would be out after dark because it is known that they would take whatever they wanted and you would probably never be seen again. All except for one. Character B is rumored to be one of the most powerful vampires, but he is a strange on indeed. Known to be very picky for his meals he has never really been one to be in the limelight. He prefers to be mysterious for whatever reason and the rest of the vampires of the town find him quite odd, always whispering about him. He has never sired another vampire either which in this day and age was a bit of a taboo. The heat was starting to pile on top of him from all sides by the vampires and he was in some hot water.

That is until he is introduced to the Fillen family. In return for a measly pittance, they agree to sell him Character A - their unwanted daughter. She would be a perfect vampire for him to turn. To placate the rumors and unrest that was swirling around him. She would always listen to him and do whatever he asked of her without question. A perfect solution.

Of course Character B agrees and the two seem to make quite a pair. He doesn’t want to change her, so at first he keeps her at arms length, constantly giving her tasks to do or telling her she needed to “study” things before she could be turned into a real vampire. Unfortunately for him Character A is over the moon with the idea that she would be a vampire turned by him. To belong to someone for all eternity meant that she would be linked to someone permanently forever. Someone who couldn’t just throw her away. That and she wanted the power of a vampire. To be strong and proud. She makes good use of herself for him, procuring him whatever meal he would like for that night and always pestering him to change her. She serves him earnestly and with a gusto that he never would have expected of someone who was advertised to him as a broken and beaten puppy. She is like a puppy alright, but more like a lovesick one.

To make matters worse, Character B is NOT experienced in romance or love. He hasn’t even ever kissed someone despite how old he really is.
