S.I.N | Modern Mafia Plot
Notes: This could be converted to being modern fantasy if that is more you jam. Totally up to you. Be advised that this plot will involve violence, gang activity, criminal activity, guns, possibly death? All of the above and probably more.
The Bonrelli Syndicate is a name that usually strikes fear into the hearts of people. A horrible blight upon the city and even stretching beyond that, the BS is a large collection of people that cannot be nailed down no matter what criminal activity they tend to get involved with. Known for dipping their toes into everything, extortion, blackmail, gun running, murder for hire, drug dealing, human trafficking, and everything else that is bad for society, most people just try to mind their own business and keep their noses clean. Unfortunately due to the large reaches of the BS, most citizens of the city have to interact with them at some point and are often terrorized by the lower members of the crime ring. Even some members of the police force and some of the high ranking politicians are in the pocket of the BS due to the aforementioned extortion and black mail.
Still, even though they have all these connections and appear to be untouchable, that isn’t always true. Archibald Bonrelli, the don of the Syndicate if you will, is a super proud and devoted daddy. Character A is his daughter, and the absolute pearl of his entire life. Her mother, the love his life died during childbirth and he has always doted and loved on her. Spoiled rotten with everything she could have ever wanted and having an extremely glamorous and easy life has allowed her to grow up to be rather entitled. She is not afraid to name drop and threaten, knowing damn well how scared people are of her name. While she isn’t involved in the Syndicate other than her connection via blood, she is not afraid to use them for her benefit. Due to her loud mouth and flashy antics, it makes her a logical target for rivals or anyone who might want to get back at Archie or the Bonrelli Syndicate. During a trip to a foreign land Character A is kidnapped and taken hostage by a group who wants to extort the Bonrelli Syndicate for money. For the first time in her life she is having to fear for her life because these foreign agents have no interest in keeping her comfortable or even unharmed.
Archie Bonrelli gets the ransom demand and is beside himself with worry and anger. Using his connections he reaches out to S.I.N. The Syndicate International Network, an organization that consists of specialty criminals who were like glorified mercenaries that could be hired for a price to get a job done. They are extremely skilled in foreign countries and being able to act as a free agent with no ties to keep political issues to a minimum. Character B is a well known agent for S.I.N, hired by Archie Bonrelli to find his daughter and bring her home safely.
He does indeed find her, but now they have to make it back home safely while being actively pursued by not only the foreign organization that wanted to use her for ransom, but the authorities as well.
