Here's a post for my ideas that could fall under the supernatural genre.

Welcome to Luminos! It’s a one-of-a-kind show on Earth. It sheds light on the curiosities of the world, displaying individuals with extraordinary abilities and conditions. Luminos is the home for freaks. It welcomes those who society shuns and gives them a home.
The show has arrived in town. When a strange murder occurs, it’s easy to blame the circus full of outcasts. Could it indeed be one of them? Or perhaps it is the owner of Luminos who has goals of his own, unknown to the performers under his wing.
(So basically this is a supernatural freak circus. I have a character planned that is a new performer at the circus. Yours can be another performer, a visitor, whatever you wish. I'd like to discuss the details of what is going on at the circus with whoever I'm trying this idea with)

It’s a very regular day, nothing out of the ordinary. A and B are both on a bus, heading to the city. Suddenly there’s a horrible noise, a flash of bright light and then… nothing.
Both A and B wake up in a huge, empty city alone. There’s something eerie about the place and they know something is wrong. After wandering around for a while, A and B run into each other. They try to figure out what’s going on and eventually, following clues they find in the city, they figure out they were in a car accident and now they are stuck somewhere between. Not quite alive, not quite dead. Their bodies in a coma.
They start exploring the city and find other lost souls about. Some are still sane and some… less so. There are creatures in the city, determined to dispatch their souls into the afterlife. Can they find their way back to the land of the living or will they lose themselves into the in between?

Nobody really knew where the magic shop popped up from. One day the long empty store space was just suddenly occupied by this strange man and his even stranger merchandise.
A and B don’t know each other. They find themselves in the book section after wandering into the store out of pure curiosity and strike up a mundane conversation. Things take an unexpected turn when B jokingly reads a short incantation from a book they randomly found, thinking that it’s all nonsense. Immediately there is a bright flash of light and A and B find themselves on their asses on the floor, surrounded by a cloud of smoke. The book lays open on the ground where B dropped it. The store owner naturally comes to investigate what the sound was. As he is yelling at B who is still confused, A reaches for the book and manages to rip part of the page off before the furious store owner throws them out. Although confused, both of them feel okay. They discuss the situation for a bit outside of the store and come to the conclusion that it had to be some prank. They separate and go their own ways.
But the peace doesn’t last for long. That night they have strange dreams that almost don’t seem their own. The next day is filled with strange visions and sensations. At one point in the mirror it isn’t their own face looking back, it’s the face of the stranger from the store. Disturbed by these events both of them make their way to the store only to find it gone, disappeared in one night. The partial page A managed to rip out hints to the situation; they are under a spell. And not just any spell but a seemingly unbreakable bond. They feel whatever the other feels, somewhat see what they see. Marks will appear on the other too if one is hurt. And if one dies… so does the other. They begin a desperate hunt for the mysterious man and stumble upon an underground world of occult they wished they had never knew existed.

A is desperate for a job. So desperate in fact that they throw all caution out of the window when the mysterious Orville institute offers them a job interview. Nobody knows much about the Orville institute, just that it is a research laboratory for something. Everyone who works there has remained as silent as a grave considering the topic of what goes on there.
When A arrives to the supposed the interview location their sense of self-preservation kicks in and they can’t quite shake the feeling that something is off. Just as A is about to leave, someone attacks them with a taser and they lose consciousness. By the time they wake up, they have been securely moved into the secret research laboratory under the Orville institute. A finds themselves in a cell with thick glass walls and one other person.
B has been at the Orville institute for some time already and explains what is going on. The Orville institute isn’t researching anything that one might expect such as cures for diseases. Instead they have uncovered a massive secret and are now using it for their own benefit. Many creatures, that people believe are simply fictional, actually existed at some point. And they have left behind their bloodlines; people with the blood of something nonhuman coursing through them. The Orville institute tracks them down to study them and experiment on them in hopes of harnessing the extraordinary qualities that hide inside of them.
