Odyssey, or Odd, was born the angelic son of a prosperous archangel. Due to his ranks, he'd easily become a target at birth as demons alike prayed for his untimely death or even tried to cause him harm. This of course made his mother weary; she begged his father to keep him sequestered from the world, which he obliged. At the age of five, Odd was shut in an extravagant palace, never to step foot outside for the next eons to come.
