Basically, after Dan Heng brought him inside, he has never left the palace. He is scared of what might happen if he is caught there, but how can he leave, passing unnoticed? He is troubled and doesn't know what to do yet.
For now, your character asked for a specific meal just that only a part of it arrived. What's missing is being devoured in the garden, behind the gazebo.
