Roleplay Idea #3: The Negotiator

In the dark streets of the endless city, he resides a man who is known by many names. The prominent of which is the Negotiator. He is a man who prides himself on getting a job done as quickly and as efficiently as possible. In the criminal underworld, the Negotiator was known as a dangerous man. He could find a peaceful solution to a problem just as easily as he could a more...violent one. So long as he was given complete in how to tackle a particular situation, of course.

He never had any qualms about taking a job, but this one? He found it weird. It was a bodyguard job, an apparent standard affair. A rich socialite was allowing his daughter to leave the country, but he wanted to give her some protection. All seemed okay, but the man was peculiar. Lots of things didn't add up. The timing of the trip, the location the girl was heading to, the man's eagerness to send his daughter off, it was all strange to him. Even the insane amount that he was being paid was suspect since he was being charged triple of what his normal rate was. It didn't sit right with the Negotiator, but considering how insistent the man was, he took on the job anyway.

Essentially, this is a bodyguard romance story with some pretty dark themes. Expect the negotiator to be a bit cold and blunt at first before he finally starts to warm up. You have complete freedom on how to handle your character. I don't have any hard and fast rules beyond being semi-literate, 1-2 paragraphs minimum and third person perspective.
