ㅤㅤㅤ" hallo, julchen here." the other line was silent. julchen scoffed. this was what she got for answering the phone. everyone knows you're not supposed to answer private calls, unknown callers, and spam calls. especially spam calls... if someone called her asking about her supposed "unpaid credit cards" again, she'd surely lose her mind. the cold wind stung her bare cheeks, she patiently stood with her free hand resting in her cardigan pocket and the other hand held her phone to her ear.
ㅤㅤㅤthe caller spoke, " julchen..." it was a man. his voice was raspy, it sounded as if he had been crying. sniffles and sighs filled the silence as julchen came to realize who she was speaking with. all he said was he name, but julchen knew, even after all of these years of no contact.
