Born in a small farming colony in Hietha, Garrus Von Wrex had a pretty good life until the age of ten when his village was attacked by Batarian Pirate Slavers. He was forced to watch in horror as his family was executed right in front of him, and the Batarians took him in as a slave for his Bionic Powers which his race was known for being far superior with.

Thankfully, at the age of fourteen, Garrus was saved by the Galactic Federation Special Forces. He was no longer a slave to the Batarians, but seeing those Special Forces move and fight the way they do inspire him to join the Galactic Federation Military where he graduated top of his class and was quickly assigned, Commander.

Everything was finally going well, until one fatal mission on the planet of Poxis-VI where they were tasked to take out a group of Advanced Mechs. Everything was going right until a well-thrown grenade blew up next to Garrus squad, killing them all instantly and scarring Garrus lower face permanently.

Seeing his squad killed so easily, Garrus was fueled with deep hatred and raged and he single handly destroyed every Mech inside the Moon Base and proceeded to nuke it after leaving via escape ship.

Garrus was deemed a hero and made the first-ever Esol Spectre. Specters are the highest power of soldiers in the entire Galactic Federation answering only to the Citadel Council and making sure they have to do absolutely anything to get the job done. He was also gifted a Class SR-2 Stealth Ship named the Vagabond where he hand-selected his own crew.

But ever since Poxis-VI, Garrus has been more cruel and vindictive, he will do absolutely anything to get the job done. Even killing innocent people that dared opposes him, after all.. Good Soldiers Follow Orders.
